Joe from Browder Painting in San Luis Obispo, painstakingly stripped and hand sanded the old varnish off of the door, conditioned the wood, stained the door with a lovely cherry wood finish, and applied two coats of satin varnish to protect the finish. Joe was an outstanding workman. He was extremely courteous, always arrived on time, and cheerfully answered all of my questions. All of the staff and crew from Browder have been exceptional. "We were in a hurry because our cabinets were scheduled to be installed in short order. We were referred to Randy by another of contractor, called him and he promptly came in, gave us his bid, which we agreed to, and he immediately scheduled the work. On the day he was scheduled to start he arrived with Javier, the person who would actually perform the work. Randy got Javier started then left for most of the day and returned at the end to help with cleanup. Javier worked very hard, probably for around 11 hours, and was very good at his trade. I'm familiar with this process having done this work myself as well as watching other drywall professionals. The result was a quality job that fit perfectly into our schedule."
