"Very pleased with all aspects of this project by Swanson's Roofing. From the initial visit for the estimate to the final clean-up. We got 3 estimates for our project, and Swanson's was the highest of the 3, but they impressed us so much with their proposal, that we decide to go with them. We knew ours would be a difficult project, because all of our existing plywood sheathing was substandard, weak, and decaying. We would need all wood sheathing torn off and replaced as well as new roofing. They gave us plenty of notice when they would be coming. We are retired, so we were at home to watch the whole process. They showed up on time at 7 a.m. the day of the project. The crew descended on our roof like a swarm of locusts. We counted 14 workers on the roof at one time, all wearing proper safety gear I might add. We watched them work up close from our 2nd story windows, and we got to see what hard work this was, but how skillfully they did it. We asked them to add a few pieces of missing attic insulation and insulation baffles for us, and they willingly did so with a smile. The entire project was finished by about 2:30 p.m. Amazing. They spent a long time (all 14 of them) going through the yard to clean up debris, nails, etc. The roof looks beautiful, and should last a long time. Certainteed provides a 50 year transferable warranty, and Swanson's backs that up with their own lifetime guarantee on their workmanship. Swanson's is a company that definitely understands the concept of customer service. This is something that you don't see too often today. I would highly recommend them to all."

"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"The installation process was fine. We had trouble with communication between us and the contractor. He was very hard to get a hold of and get a straight answer from as far as when they were going to start and what their plan was (we had weather delays).  Once the roof was finished (April), he ensured us that we would receive our warranty information by mail and that sometimes it takes awhile during the busy season. In mid-June we had not received anything and no word from the contractor so we became concerned. We attempted to contact the contractor for a couple weeks before we got a response - that it was in their system and it takes awhile.  Another month passes by and I am tired of waiting, so I contact the roofing vendor itself where the warranty is coming from - Atlas Roofing Products.  I sent an email to the regional sales manager first thing in the morning and received a phone call within a couple of hours. By the end of the day I had my warranty information in hand.  Overall, we are happy with the installation and product but not happy with the lack of communication.  We would have preferred to be kept in the loop and updated on the warranty of our roof which we had just dropped a large chunk of change on. <br />"

"Mr. Haas identified problems in our roof installation and issued a report. He suggested re-install and steps that we should take to get it done. It was a long process that involved county and DPOR. Mr. Haas was very helpful every step during the entire process. He is highly experienced and very responsive to our calls, text, and email. We eventually got the roof reinstalled in a very good quality. Mr. Haas was onsite multiple times to ensure the right materials and methods were used. It would not be possible without the help from Mr. Haas."

"They're a small company. They did a good job though. It went very well. We had a really complex job that they had to do. They did a good job. It kept longer than what we expected, but then again, it was a huge week complex job and compared to the other bids, about $10,000 less. The work was really good and they were nice guys. They stayed on their bid and we had a really difficult roof with 4 main peaks, really steep tables that go into 4 different pitches, then with the curves front and evrything like that, and then front porch, back porch, garage, and the original sheather shake was under 4 layers of shingle, and on the driver's side, there were 3 storeys up, so they had on a really steep pitch. They had to peel everything back, to take the sheather shake off, and then put the decking on, 2300 sq ft of decking and then do everything else, so the big job."

"We own an older home that took some good damage from the recent storms. Messing Construction came out immediately, gave us a price on the spot, and made temporary repairs to the roof to stop the leak. They were not able to get the insurance adjusters to pay for a whole new roof. We paid a small repair charge and their price was higher than a few of the bids we received. We were worried about the funny sounding name, but their professionalism and timeliness told us everything we needed to know. The exterior work went great and we decided to have them patch the ceiling in our kitchen too. Quality work and gosh they are hard workers!"

"Our Ins co. informed us our roof needed to be replaced to keep our coverage from being dropped. They said it was wavy. I called and requested a few quotes, and we settled on the Dillman Brothers. They worked within the deadline that the Ins co. had set,  and did a good job. The lead onsite took time to answer questions and address concerns, and seemed interested in doing a good job, not just getting it done. So, after the job was complete the Ins co. still wasn't satisfied, but Larry Dillman spoke to our Ins agent and together they were able to put to rest any concerns that the Ins provider had."
