"Hector and his crew did a beautiful job landscaping my yard. I had a concrete patio put in around my pool as well as an outdoor kitchen. I was very pleased with everything he did. He also guaranteed the plants that he installed for several months. Any plant that needed to be replaced because of the heat was replaced without question. His costs were very reasonable. Hector was also the only person I contacted for a quote that actually listened to me about the design I wanted and got it right the first time. He is also very talented when it comes to designing yards. I'm very pleased with everything from the work done, as well as the cost. "Overall the project was fantastic, and Seth was great to work with. From taking the concept my wife had, Seth drew up a plan with everything she asked for, and we were able to scale back where needed for budgeting purposes, so he helped us rework from the original design to where we ultimately landed. Timing - he began on time, and finished early. Project lasted a total of 5 weeks. Budget - he was spot on to the original budget. We did make changes to some items, and he kept a running change list that was helpful to keep us on track. Team - The guys were amazing, and took exceptional pride in their work. I got to chat them up quite a bit, and they’ve been with Seth for many years - which was an awesome sign, because I’m guessing you don’t stay of things aren’t going well. They were here everyday from 7-3:30, and the few times that they weren’t, we had a heads up. We even got a heads up when it wouldn’t be the full crew. Communication - pretty sharp, zero complaints here. We knew what was going on, when it was happening, and Seth was here almost everyday for at least a period of time. "Efrain came several times to the property so we could discuss design aspects. He was so patient with me as well as the changes I made each time before I got a quote and he started work. We had a difficult area to have work done in Venice being in the middle of the block and our back alley too small for a standard construction truck to fit. Efrain investigated and figured out the best way to get the excavated soil out as well as the pavers and road base onto the property. Efrain is a man of great character. Once work began, he and his staff were incredibly respectful of our tenants, the property, and our neighbors. He was an artist in several areas, he leveled each and every paver by hand as well as used his expertise in concrete to direct areas for water to drain from the property during rainfall. When I decided to do change orders, he didn’t take that opportunity to charge me a vast amount of money because he knew I had no choice if I wanted the work done. He and his staff always cleaned up after themselves and made sure no one would be in danger of walking across an unsafe area.
