"We recently moved into a new place and knew that our roof was going to need some work and had leaks that had been patched by the previous owners. We had several roofing companies come by and check it out and by far T & G Roofing gave us the most comprehensive description of what needed to be done, how they were going to do it, and what it was going to cost us. Mike Cernile came to our home for the inspection, and had the quote back to us within a couple of days. He was very good at describing what was wrong with the current roof and what would be required to re-roof the home. He was the ONLY person among all the companies we talked to who described where the trucks would need to park and what damage that might cause to our yard, which my wife and I were very thankful for as there were no surprises the days the crews came to do the work. The tear-off was over in less than a day, and the roofing crew was there the very next day to start the work. The entire project was completed quickly and efficiently, with all the work being permitted and inspected. We are very satisfied with the roof we received from T & G."

I recently had a ventilation fan installed in my bathroom. Once the wiring and fan were in place, Joe came by to install a TPO vent. He also gave me valuable tips for cleaning TPO roofing and pointed out fascia board corners needing touch-up paint. "We have had 4 roof repairs in the past 2 years. They were by far the best roofers. We have had 3 roofers out and they were the best so we have had them out twice. We have some kind of leak. It never rains here so you get a roof repair done and it doesn't rain for a year or two so you don't know if it is fixed or not. At any rate we had major rains here, and suddenly there was water coming in under the flooring around the fire place and the door. It has ruined the floor. We didn't know exactly where the water was coming in from. It was the chimney sweep who identified what he thought was some of the issues. When LA Rocque came out they advised on some things that we think might resolve the problem and we did re roofing all around the chimney, so we will see. I am pretty confident that they were both trouble shooters trying to figure out the problem and where they leak was coming from. They say they come at a certain time. They were actually a half of an hour early. They are clean, they pick up after themselves. You can just see the work, it is very very good. It was exactly what they quoted."

"First, the pros: <br /> 1.  The workmanship on the roof itself was very good.  We have had several significant rainfalls and no issue with leakage. <br /> 2.  The overall cost was competitive, and in fact slightly lower than other bids received. <br /> 3.  The company was willing to work with us on an installment plan that made it easier for us to pay for the new roof. <br /> There were, however, several issues we had with Octagon: <br /> 1. The project took longer than anticipated (about 3 weeks in total).  Some of this was due to extreme heat during the first stages of the project, but even after accounting for these days it still took about a week longer than anticipated.  It took numerous phone calls with the owner to finally get a larger crew on site to finish the work in a timely manner. <br /> 2. Overall, the owner was not very communicative during the project.  It took a lot of proactive phone calls to get updates on the schedule, additional costs, etc.  The owner rarely visited the work site, instead relying on a foreman. <br /> 3.  We had an issue with fascia boards that were installed poorly and not painted to match the white trim of the house.  Ultimately the owner agreed to fix the boards and paint them, but only after repeated calls and us withholding final payment. <br />"

"I needed my roof inspected and repaired before the onslaught of El Nino. They were very busy but said they would fit me in. The owner came out and inspected and told me his guys would get to it when they could. I expected to wait weeks but it was only a few days. <br /> After a subsequent wind storm I found more roof tiles on the ground and could see something wrong on the roof. They came out again and made another patch and didn't even charge me for it. <br /> I will definitely call them when I need to have the whole roof replaced in a couple of years. <br />"
