"I had such an incredible experience with Brandon and Oz that I truly felt compelled to write a review. It seems like artificial grass is the new way to go - once I did my research the list of pros just went on and on. **The process - I called a few local companies and Encore Builders was actually the last to come out (I guess its true they save the best for last). Brandon and Oz came out together and took measurements of my front yard. We recently installed some fencing so I wanted everything to look fresh and new. They came up with a fabulous idea of an arched driveway with some stepping stones through the artificial turf (see photos). They gave me a quote on the spot and I instantly knew they were the right company. You can tell they are honest people who are not trying to just take your money. They love what they do. The price was extremely competitive compared to the other companies that came out. IN ADDITION - they are the only company to come up with a beautiful landscaping idea that made my front yard absolutely stunning. **The project - The project was quick and painless. Two day job. Crews arrived in the morning - respectfully parked trucks on the street and everyone was super awesome (friendly reminder to have water on hand for your hard workers in the California heat!!). They left everything SPOTLESS and the turf looks gorgeous!!! **The pros - artificial turf was a great solution for us due to the low maintenance. We love to utilize both our front and back yard (hosting, kids playing, etc) and we wanted something we could enjoy year round without an expensive upkeep. Also, now that water and electricity bills are up - we knew we had to find a cheaper solution. Bye bye sprinklers!! No need for mowing, watering, or fertilizing here!!! I honestly don't see any cons - artificial grass was the right move for us and I could not be happier with the results. THANK YOU BRANDON AND OZ!!!! They also replaced a very old and worn out back fence and gate with one that perfectly matches our fencing and works flawlessly and is much more stable than the old fence. Highly recommended."

"Kris was extremely responsive and came to give me an estimate within 24 hours and scheduled his guys to start a two day job (lots of square footage) within the next couple of days... I am blown away by how gorgeous my floors look! This is not the first time that I have had my stone floors cleaned and polished, and I was pleased with the previous contractor and had planned to use him again, but going forward, this is my "go to" company.... The areas that they have finished were water-stained and had some damage... THEY LOOK LIKE NEW!!!! Considering that some of my high traffic areas were pretty bad, the floors look FABULOUS!!! "Tom Cohen and Joe Sapir were great. They went through the possibilities and options with us, including what we could do with our budget and possibilities for financing. We bought our house as part of a repossessed hillside property, and we had to buy it in "as is" condition with decades of deferred maintenance. We had chipped away at fixing up the interiors over the past ten years, and were ready for a major (and long overdue) overhaul of the exteriors. The house is 1,200 square feet, but the garage is basically two stories with the living area on the third floor. That means a lot of stucco to repair and a lot of surface to paint. We needed new windows to replace the 50-year old ones that were original with the house, along with a new front door and sliding glass door in the back. This included expanding the size of the windows so that they were bigger (and actually up to code). The insulation in the attic was very old and needed to be replaced as well. Our garage door was dented (by a previous owner) and needed to be replaced along with the motor. Our back porch was falling apart, and we needed that repaired and painted. Our back yard had little privacy and was too hot to spend much time in for most of the year, so we also had them put in a large alumawood patio cover that extends over the porch and most of the yard (to the edge of our garden). It was important to us not to just pick a "low bid" contractor and instead to get a company that would do the work with high-quality materials and skilled crews with proper insurance and quality guarantees. We wanted this to be the last major overhaul we have to do on the exteriors of this house. The crews that came to do all of the work were very skilled, and worked with us to make sure they were doing exactly the work we wanted. Each phase of the project went quickly and efficiently, with prompt inspections and "touch-ups" afterwards to make sure everything was done well. Tom and Joe were very responsive and communicated well with us throughout the projects. We are very happy with the work, and we got our money's worth."

"I met with three different concrete contractors when I knew i wanted to extend my patio and knew as soon as i met Randy that he was the person I'd like to have do the work.  Randy is a true tradesman who takes a lot of pride in his work and has a vast depth of knowledge.  The job included tearing out a lawn, leveling the surface, making nearly a dozen different forms and then pouring and broom finishing the concrete pads.  Everyone in Randy's crew was friendly, professional and always cleaned up after themselves.  I would not hesitate to hire Randy again.

"I first met Tony, owner of Nexxus Remodeling, soon after his lead hardwood flooring installer had come to check out my home so they could send me an estimate. My project was to rip out all carpet in my upstairs, and on the stairs from the 1st floor. Even before I had received all bids I’d sought from him and other contractors, Tony found out the floor I’d intended to buy was out of stock. He arranged for me to go to a showroom that has the best inventory and selection I’d seen in my search, and he met me there to personally assist me to find flooring I liked just as well as my first choice. I was soon able to determine that Tony’s bid was very comprehensive and reasonable, but his efforts to help me before even being hired had impressed me just as much. If you want to hire a contractor who will go to extreme lengths to ensure you end up a totally satisfied customer, Tony. He said from the beginning that he wouldn’t consider my flooring project completed until I felt that every detail had been attended to, and he meant it! Tony personally checks in frequently to monitor the project. His crew does it all (carpet removal and disposal; installation of hardwood flooring, moldings and risers; carpentry; removal and replacement of doors and furniture; and, clean up after each days work). Not only that but they removed a washer and dryer that had konked out, and brought them downstairs onto my patio, AND then they cleaned out a laundry area that had at least 25 years worth of lint and dust built up in it. I sincerely recommend Nexxus Remodeling for your next home renovation project - not just for hardwood installation (they do it all!)."
