"Good.  Outside of leaving empty boxes and electrical supply pieces in my wheelbarrow (which I think his assistants did), Jamey is great.  The lights are perfect and they were securely mounted to the trees.  We have great lighting in our fire pit area and on the open drain field to have parties now and a wedding in September!  He ran the electrical in and around tree roots, but left the dirt out of the holes.  We had to hire someone to finish it off.  No big deal, I'd still hire Jamey over any other electrical contractor because he knows what he is doing, and does a thorough, safe, job.  He is also very easy going and understanding about money.  The verbal estimate was much lower than what I ended up paying, and honestly I was shocked, but I understand the terrain they had to work with and they deserved every penny.  One small incident, happened our freezer was unplugged during the time they were working here.  We lost about $400 worth of meats.  We were very upset and no one ever took ownership of it.  That was disappointing.  I think Jamey should just work alone, and not have the assistants he had with him on my most recent job, because I think they don't care about their work environment.  Jamey cares, but he needs to dump his crew.  From now on, he can work here but only alone, or with his cousin."

"Erwin and his son were very nice and took time to explain things. In addition to giving me a price for the light fixtures jobs that needed doing, Erwin suggested some big price jobs that I had not called him out for. One of his suggestions was to replace the 200 amp panel for a newer one, at a cost of between $3600 to $4500 dollars. Subsequently, I had another electrician come and he said there was no need for a new panel, since it was GE (reliable brand who still sold replacement parts) and we were having no problems. Erwin also said the house needed to be grounded. That would cost $900 (or $990 - not sure). I said that someone had already grounded the large appliances. I showed him the grounding line outside. He then said the wire/cord they used was not up to the current standard. But the city inspector had approved it (within the past two years). So, their suggestions that I have higher priced jobs ( new panel and grounding) that were not really necessary made me hesitate to work with them for the simpler jobs I had called them out to price."

"<p>I initially purchased the recessed light deal from Angie's list.  Bob was very responsive and flexible to my schedule and the other work that had to be completed before we could do the lighting work.  I was very pleased with the work that was done, they were timely, professional and clean.  I decided to have some additional recessed lights installed in another room, LED lighting installed above the sink area in the kitchen and a new line run for an electric fireplace we were putting in.  I couldn't be happier with the work that was done and I will contact Lehigh Valley Electric for any future electrical projects I come up with.</p> <br />"
