"I used AA appliance repair twice to repair my microwave and stove. They did a very good job, their price was reasonable and the technician was very knowledgeable. I recommend them if you need an appliance repair service."

"This was not a good overall experience. It was in the middle of a very bad snowstorm, and my refrigerator stopped cooling. When I called AAA Appliance, I was told someone could come to repair my refrigerator which was great. I was happy he could come out in the storm, and told him so when he arrived. He diagnosed the problem as being a bad computer board and said the repair would be $518.00. When I asked how much the actual part was, he said $315.00. I was surprised at the price, as my sister had just had the same thing replaced a week before and the total cost of repairs was $298.00. I expected to pay more because it was a snowstorm/Saturday in terms of service call or labor, but the part was almost 3 times what I expected. I was basically stuck without being able to call around to find out it this was fair, and asked if he had a particularly high markup on his parts, which he said and quot;noand quot; to. He fixed the refrigerator, I thanked him for coming out in the storm. After the fact, I found out that I would possibly still be under extended warranty, so that Monday, called around to get what others charged for this part, calling 3 different repair places, including some that were usually in the higher range and got quotes of $135.00--$179.00. I was shocked that it would be so much less than I was charged, so called AAA Appliance and asked that the owner call me. When he called and I asked him why the part was so high, he proceeded to yell at me, told me that he could charge whatever he wanted, that it was his business and that I had been rude to him. When I asked him how I had been rude, he said he didn't have to explain. I then asked that he send me another copy of the of the bill with the part number on it, so that I could at least send it in to my extended warranty company to see if I could be reimbursed. It took 2 weeks, 2 phone calls and one letter to receive that, but it didn't have the part number on the copy. Did he fix the refrigerator? Yes. Did he come out in the middle of a snowstorm? Yes. Was I satisfied with the overall service, attitude and price...absolutely not. No one likes feeling ripped off. He was paid well for his service and labor ($203.00 for one hour), but the charge for the part was ludicrously high and I felt he acted in a totally unprofessional manner.

"Nick is an excellent plumber. My late husband was a perfectionist, and he admired Nick's work and his creative problem-solving. Nick replace a frost-free water facet that would not turn off. I thought the house siding might need removing, but Nick fixed it from the inside of the house, and it works perfectly. A few years ago, the water main from the street to the house started leaking inside the house and below the shutoff valve. I discovered this on a Friday at 6:00 PM. Nick's wife walked me through how to turn the water off at the street. Saturday morning Nick and his wife, Anna, showed up, and Nick developed a workaround solution so I could have water until he replaced the pipe that runs from the street to the house. Nick put a sink in the garage with hot and cold running water when previous plumbers said it wasn't possible, and it has worked perfectly for over 10-years now. AND, he cleans up everything before leaving."

"Dillon was very professional and responsive, and got the job done both quickly from the time of my request and with quality. My only minor hesitation on a full five star rating was that by phone he indicated he had an identical part with which to replace my disposal, when in showing up he had a similar/comparable Under another label (stated to be same manufacturer). It wasn t material for me, but 100% clarity up front would have been better."

"Technician listened to my concerns about each faucet, and he explained what needed to be done to each faucet to get them to work properly and satisfy code purposes. One of the faucets required cutting into an inside wall to access the pipes for the spigot. The technician did a great, clean cut measuring about 10" square in the inside wall, and I could see his work on the pipes in the wall cavity. The cut was very easy for us to patch and paint. The second spigot was easy for him to replace. The third spigot will not be as easy as the technician needs to research the appropriate replacement spigot then return a second time to finish the job. Payment of $360 is only for 2 repaired spigots and does not include work for the 3rd to be repaired."

"John came at the scheduled appointment time, did a coupe door test runs, and then slightly adjusted driving unit force. That was it! Now it works almost like a brand new unit! He didn't even ask me to pay anything saying that no real work had been done. He took some time going with me over options I have to install a new door opener when the old one will start failing. He sounded very professional not trying to talk me into expensive deals and suggested only units that would suit my needs. When the time comes to replace my old unit, I'm definitely calling the Ever-Green Garage Doors and highly recommending others to do so as well!"

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
