He then replaced interior doors with solid doors and replaced a exterior door. Then he replaced a spiral staircase with a traditional staircase with a landing. This came out unbelievably good. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible.
