"The roofing crew did a great job. The job was completed in 4 days. It probably would have been done in 3, but we had rain the afternoon of the 1st day. BAC had anticipated the rain so they did not do any work which would have led to a possible leak. They also applied tar to areas that could have led to possible leaks a couple of months before they started the new roof. There was a leak in the living room ceiling which precipitated the need for a new roof. The tar patching that they did prior to the installation of the new membrane roof prevented any further damage to the living room ceiling. I don't think any other company would have taken the time to do that. A real plus of the new roof is how cool the house has been. The AC has hardly been running since the roof was installed. I imagine it will also help hold in the heat during the winter. I am totally pleased with the job and won't hesitate to recommend BAC to anyone needing a new roof. It is an expensive roof but I feel the expense is well worth the money spent for the warranty offered and the peace of mind of not having to deal with on going roof maintenance problems."

"We had just bought a house, and had contracted Roswell Roofing to come repair and reshingle the roof. We hadn't moved in yet, but we came over to let the plumbers in we had hired to start work so that we could move in, and found the roofers at the house working on the roof a day early. The boss apologized about starting a day early, but we told them that was quite all right with us, the sooner the work is done, the sooner we could move in. <br /> They did run into a few issues, the pitch on our carport wasn't steep enough for regular shingles as we first thought is was, and we had more layers of shingles on one section of roof then the the rest of the roof. The boss went over all the details with us on the spot, and discussed the price change for what they had found that was not expected, which was only $260 more than the original price. He has all the info waiting for us when we arrived, even though we were not expected until the next day. <br /> We had a crew of 2 men. They had the roof and carport completely stripped by the middle of the first day, and had started putting on the new shingles. They were starting to pack up for the night when it started to rain (which we all know in Roswell is a rare occurrence.) They stayed and made sure all parts of the roof that could be damaged by the rain were shingled quickly and secured before they came down and called it a night. <br /> They had left their drink cooler behind. They did such a quick job and made sure we were taken care of in the rain, that we returned the favor by making sure they had enough to drink, and refilling the ice for them so their cooler was ready in the morning for them. <br /> They showed up bright and early at 6 am the following morning. They were around until about 7 pm, when they finished cleaning up and hauling everything away. <br /> The 3rd day, they came back to finish up sealing the edges around all the vents, they were done in about an hour. <br /> All in all they were fast, especially for a 2 man crew. They made sure we were taken care of, they were very polite, always saying good morning when we came out of the house, or asking if our day was going well. They cleaned up after themselves well, and left no messes behind. They even trimmed back some tree branches for us at no extra charge so they weren't hitting the roof. <br /> We will definitely call them again if we have any more roofing needs. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for roofing work. <br />"

"I apologize if this is to long. I am new to Angies List, though a few of my friends use it. I wanted to make sure it was well detailed. <br /> My wife and I were very excited to have purchased our first home. It was a bit of a fixer upper. We did alot of work ourselves but decided we needed help to make the place really shine. A very good friend of ours had a custom staircase made by this company. I have to say it really made a diffence in his home. We decided to get an estimate a staircase as well. We called and spoke to Eddie. He was very friendly helpful. We are both very busy with work, but Eddie was willing to come on a Sunday to give us an estimate. <br /> He arrived a few minutes before 10, which is when we had agreed upon. He took measurements, discussed what materials we would like, and suggested some really interesting custom touches. We could tell he was very artistic. He explained that they also do custom tile and how it would make a really big impression for a small investment. I found out his last name was the same as mine, Santa Fe is a small place as we all know lol, and I jokingly asked for a "family discount". He laughed and told me he would do what it took to earn my business. <br /> We discussed it and decided to have the staircase in the living room, some custom tile work done in the bathroom, and 2 accent walls painted. We were quoted $2750 including materials. Eddie and his crew began work the following Monday. He explained the project would take about a week. Him and his crew arrived at 8:00 sharp every day and began work immediately. You can tell they do not like to waste time. We basically agreed to trust his taste, being that he had done this alot and we had no real idea of what would look best. <br /> The work came out absolutely stunningly. We were both shocked on how much of an impact a staircase could make in a room. Eddie stained the wood with a high gloss finish which made it look very high end. He added a custom shape to the base of the staircase, and the rail looked hand carved. When we saw the finished design of the bathroom tile we were very impressed. We chose a very classy high gloss black tile, Eddie incorporated Santa Fe style designs with clear glass tile. It completely transformed our master bathroom. The accent walls were painted with precision. Our carpet stayed nice and clean! no spills. The project came in a little over the original quote. We ended up paying $2925.00 which we felt was more than worth it. We were so happy we tried to tip Eddie $100. He refused and asked that all we do is share his work with our friends. <br /> <br /> We already have plans brewing up for the next project. We will be definately be using Expert again for our guest bathroom and a few other things. We highly recommend them! You can't beat the quality. This guy has a real talent for what he does. <br />"

"Advance Concept Construction called me ahead of time to ask me what my list was so that they could send out the right person and my list was varied so they sent the right person. I was very happy with them. The man they sent completed the jobs quite quickly so that he could move on to another one.  He was versatile with what he could do. He came ready to work and got to the job and was very professional.  He was slightly delayed but he called me."

FAQs for roof cleaning service projects in Tucumcari, NM

To find a reputable ice dam removal company, check verified customer reviews and ensure they have the proper credentials. Look at online testimonials and consult reputable agencies like the Better Business Bureau to validate their service record. Contact the company to ask about their experience, hourly rates, and safety practices. This helps ensure you're hiring a pro with proven expertise and a solid track record to protect your home from ice dam damage.

Ice dams can cause extensive damage that jeopardizes your entire roof structure. They can lead to issues like attic condensation, broken roof sheathing, persistent leaks, visible wall water stains, mold in your attic insulation, sagging drywall, rotting attic framing, and roof collapse. This damage compromises your home's integrity and requires immediate professional attention to ensure proper repair and safety.

Most insurance policies don’t include coverage for the removal of ice dams since it's considered preventive maintenance. However, damage caused by ice dams—such as roof collapse, extensive water damage, or structural failures—may be covered by your policy. It's a good idea to contact your insurance provider to understand your coverage.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams. Use a proper roof rake from the ground or a safe ladder—never climb onto an icy roof. Also, consider addressing any inadequate attic insulation that may cause heat leakage. Promptly clearing snow minimizes risks and helps maintain a safe, durable roof.
