The first items were functional, trim and shape a giant rose bush and laurel (hedge row) inside the yard along with overgrown vines and lavender sprawl along an extensive retaining wall. Next came the magic. The north and east (front) sides of the house get little sun. Grass was patchy, soil uneven and steep, and moss was destroyed by crows eating the grub infestation.
