"I tried many times to call and left a few messages but never got a call back. I finally spoke to a woman and asked about whether they could do my job and what price. She asked me to send her photos of the stump so I did. She said she would get back to me that day with a price (this was Friday.) I called later that day and got a man and when I explained what I needed he said the woman was gone for the day and that I couldn't get a price until Monday. When he finally came out to give us an estimate he quoted $300. When their man came to do the job he was surprised that they had charged us so much. We were happy with the job he did but not the price."

"I had several companies give me a quote on removing a tree stump and all the roots attached to it and Jesus was by far the most reasonable with his quote. We settled on a date and time and Jesus showed up with his workers on time and immediately got to work. He did and excellent job removing the stump and roots and placed the dirt back in the hole and raked it smoothly. I would definitely hire him again."

"After years of neglect we needed a whole new yard and Fernando and his crew did a wonderful job. First they had to remove everything including some trees, weeds and overgrown plants. Then came new sprinklers, new sod, new block wall around planter, poured concrete for a new patio and made a retaining wall. They planted almost 150 new plants, 2 trees and trimmed our existing tree. All of this only took 10 working days just like Fernando quoted (and some of those days were 12 hours long). Thank you Fernando for our beautiful yard we really appreciate it (and so do our neighbors)!"

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Tustin, CA

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
