"Fenix Electric went beyond expectations to hang a flood light camera, replace an outdoor ceiling fan, clear an issue with a gfci circuit, and install automatic light switches for three outdoor lights. His crew was courteous and professional. The work was done expeditiously. His pricing was very reasonable. I recommend Fenix Electric highly!"

"These guys were great! I had an exterior light out and a bad timer. They fixed it all, explained everything, and were very thorough. Best part, they weren't trying to sell me or uncharge me the whole time."

"Michael arrived on time for our quote request. He answered our questions professionally and offered some pro/con answers as well. Michael and his team arrived early on the "rough-in" day, completed everything per our discussions, and he and his crew were very neat and professional. We are looking forward to working with him again after the drywall job is done, for the lighting installation phase. We will definitely use MJR Electric in the future. We have already recommended MJR Electric to friends looking for a reliable, professional electrician."

"We needed an interlock put in for a generator. Phoenix was quick to respond. Had the job done in less the a week. Professional, knowledgeable, honest and dependable. He went through all the breakers to check wattage to make sure we could run what we needed in case we loose power. I would highly recommend him. He is our new electrician and already have a project in mind."

"We had A1 upgrade our electric connection from 200 to 400amps. Installing new electric meter, working directly with centerpoint, and installing additional 200 amp generator box. Justin was very clear on the details If the install. Made sure installation was aesthetically pleasing. Checked on his team regularly. Followed up with minor corrections afterwards. Continuously communicated on status, etc. Definitely top notch service."

"These guys came out on a Saturday to install a tv mount for us. Showed up on time, did great work, and then dusted and cleaned up after themselves. I plan on using them to hang a few more TVs here after Christmas. I'd also use them for electrical work if needed. Very impressed. Greg"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Tyler, TX

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
