"Lou Vail worked closely and tirelessly with us and the results are sensational. He took our ideas and brought them to life creatively and successfully, enhancing the natural environment and solving drainage issues at the same time. His employees are dedicated and hardworking. We have more projects we will be sending Lou's way!!!"

"Chris and his team at Gold Coast Pavers did a fabulous job that transformed the outside front of our home. We replaced and expanded the driveway and front entry, along with a brand new sidewalk. They delivered the desired premium materials as we requested and the pricing was competitive and transparent. We highly recommend them to any homeowner considering a masonry project in the future."

"The first problem was that the tank was in the backyard behind a detached garage with only about six feet of clearance between the house and the garage. Sterling was able to use a narrow backhoe to access the backyard and remove the tank. Upon excavating the tank it was discovered that the tank had been drained and filled with sand some 30 years earlier when the heating system was changed to gas. Due to this the tank was filled with sand and contaminated water. Sterling brought in a pump truck to remove the over 150 gallons of water in the tank and then had to remove the remaining sand and sludge into 55 gallon drums for removal. Upon removing the tank it was obvious that it had corrosive holes and thus failed the site inspection by the town. This meant that now a NJDEP case # had to be assigned to the project. Sterling took the required soil samples and back filled the site. From that point Sterling performed all the necessary functions required from sending the soil samples out for testing to the final reports sent to the NJDEP. Luckily the soil samples were within allowable limits and no further soil remediation was required. The location of the tank and space constraints made the job even more difficult. It is well worth it to use a professional company that has been in the business for years and can handle various situations. Also, the tank removal and back filling was all done in one day. I highly recommend Sterling."

"High marks for following through and meeting their commitment and doing great work. I had an Almstead arborist review the property and provide recommendations on some dead limbs and trees. We came to an agreement. When the crew came, the arborist wasn't there (later found out she'd left and moved north). As far as I could tell, the crew didn't have the instructions we'd agreed on and they did some, not all of the work. What followed was back and forth, but after a few months they sent out the crew to remedy the missing work. They did a great job and I was very glad. I appreciate the office staying on it and making it right. I've used them for 24 years and happily look forward to continuing to use them. It's a lot to trust your trees to someone!"
