"Over the course of two or three months, I had the opportunity to get to know Rob and the guys quite well. The crew did a phenomenal job renovating my house that was built in 1955. It literally looks and feels like a new build! Whenever there was a challenge that presented itself, Rob had a solution. He communicated daily, sent pictures while I was away on business travel, and when faced with a deadline, worked his tail off to make sure everything was done. "After unsuccessfully trying to remove wallpaper that had probably been on the walls for 30 years or more, I gave up and decided to find someone to do it. There were not a lot of options, but one site came up, 2nd Street Painting, so I emailed a request for estimate. Within minutes, the owner, Nate Garcier contacted me and offered to come by on Sunday, Dec. 31st. He came as scheduled, assessed, measured and gave me an estimate, followed by an emailed quote later that afternoon. Finding 2nd Street Painting was a stroke of luck. The work was done in three days, removing wallpaper, priming and repairing cracks and holes in walls and ceiling, and then painting. Workers arrived on time, got to work, and daily cleanup was fantastic. The crew was pleasant and when they ran into a snag, explained what was going on, how it was going to be remedied. They had to paint the continuation of a long wall, part of which had been painted earlier, and the match was perfect. You could not see any “seam”. When they left the work area was cleaner than it was when they started! Highly recommended!"
