"John is an incredibly knowledgeable arborist who clearly understands trees and the issues they face here in Colorado. We had two pines that he ended up removing and replacing with Junipers. He gave us options to treat or replace. John took the time to walk through both options plus provided several tree replacement options to chose from. Highly recommend his expertise and honest approach."

"Chris and his crew completed the repair of my privacy fence on time and for the quoted price. They were very careful not to damage the plants and flowers in the area where they were working. They cleaned up the work area after the job was complete and even removed a tree stump that was causing an obstruction to the fence. I will be hiring them for future projects."

Hello I am an arborist locally in town. My company primarily services commercial properties but I started in tree work doing residential. I miss helping local home owners and having those face to face relationships with clients. I've been an arborist professionally for three years and performing fire mitigation even longer through conversation programs. I would love to help our local community take care of the ours (your) trees.

"Worked very fast and efficiently but did not clean up thoroughly - Could have raked up cut trimmings better, even a 3 in stump cot off of a large branch was found by my lawnmower the next day as I tried to vacuum uo after up after them. Other wise the trimming looks good. They were the lowest bid yet done in an hour. A young salesman but older experienced tree trimmers and long prunes so no tree climbing necessary."

"They were great. We called for an estimate. Within a few days they came out and gave us a reasonable estimate, especially considering the size of the tree and its proximity to the house.  A week later they came out and removed it.  They were very professional and certainly knew what they were doing.  They had the tree down, removed from the yard, and all the cleanup finished within an hour. I was very impressed.  I am going to have them come back out and remove stumps from the yard.

"After purchasing the deal we received a message within in one day to schedule our first application.
During the call we talked about trees and issues we've been having and potential other issues with bugs.
Very straight forward - they would look at the trees and review our needs but he is against just spraying pesticide willy nilly, thankfully.
Applied the weed & feed letting us know since we had dogs in the back. Grass is greening up and weeds seem to be disappearing so good start.
Have not heard anything regarding our trees needing any bug stuff or certain types of fertilizer.
We expect to be notified for summer application as we close in on July.

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Usaf-academy, CO

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
