"After receiving quotes from two other reputable landscaping companies, we decided to go with Blue Ribbon for two reasons: they had the BEST quality "turf" (similar pricing) and they were the only bid that suggested recycling our beautiful red brick (instead of buying expensive artistic pavers or flagstone) and re-design the pattern to a gorgeous Herringbone 45 degree angle AND seal the red brick giving it a fabulous glossy look. I have to tell you, I was nervous after I signed the contract, wrote a check and read a few negative reviews on Google sites but our experience was FANTASTIC!  <br /> Phil quoted us 4-6 weeks since they are in busy season and they came on week 6 (we were in no rush, it is 105 degrees outside!). The job took them a mere 3 days and it came out waaaaay BETTER than I expected/ envisioned! Truly- blown away with the quality of work and craftsmanship from his team! Not to mention, they were all extremely professional and wonderful to work with. Very courteous and polite! <br /> Like any major project, I would highly recommend being home for the initial start and reviewing the contract and a diagram of your expectations with the crew supervisor... our brick was almost re-laid out in the same pattern! They were totally cool about it and made sure it was done exactly as planned. <br /> About a month after the project was completed, we had extreme rainfall in Tucson and noticed a divot in the turf. Phil's team came over the very next day, pulled the turf back, filled the hole and good as new. NOW THAT IS SERVICE! <br /> 5 stars because they were awesome all the way- from Phil in Sales to the Crew who made our yard the envy of the neighborhood. I would HIGHLY recommend Blue Ribbon Builders. <br />"

Premier Concrete Resurfacing was very helpful and informative in preparing for our project and leveled our concrete as promised; they worked hard to be sure everything was ready as scheduled."

I called Joe as ASAP Concrete and he said he would fit me into his schedule the next day since I had tile guys coming later in the week to tile and it would put me behind schedule if I didn't get it filled. "To begin, Ocotillo concrete did not contact Blue Stake, as they should have.  As a result, the work was delayed a week while we had to wait for approval to complete the necessary digging leaving our driveway a complete mess.  A small portion of an existing wall was damaged, which we didn't notice until the job was complete and final payment was made.  Additionally, a portion of the driveway was not completed.  When I asked about this, their solution to the missing piece was to simply pour some dirt on that area.  I mentioned my dissatisfaction with this in particular when I made the payment, but they did not contact me.  I paid another contractor to do this as well as repair the damage they made to the wall.  I would not use them again, nor would I recommend their services. <br />"

"William and crew replaced a 6X6 post supporting the tiled porch roof on our older home. I'm very pleased with the work - it matches well, it was not disruptive, the price was reasonable, & we had no problems with it. I think he's an excellent carpenter. I've been after him to do additional work at the house, but it's hard to get him to respond. Whenever we do connect, the lead time for work is about 3 months (no problem for me - we're flexible about scheduling). I'm guessing my jobs may be too small, but he's also apparently working though an expansion of his business. I'll need to find another carpenter, but I'd still recommend him. <br />"

Quality work and contractors - price range within dollars of two other bids. Price went up when we realized I needed to pour new concrete - which, for many reasons ended up being a bonus but it did drive up the price considerably. They offered other options to the new concrete as well."
