"I originally hired Carlos to install some new vanity tops and sinks and to repair and paint my deck. I was preparing my house for sale. After discussing with my agent the list of things to do grew substantially. Carlos stepped up and ended up taking on all the work. He (and his crew) removed popcorn ceiling, painted walls, ceilings, stair bannisters, cabinet doors, front door, steps and he installed a new vanity, tiled, fixed plumbing issues, fixed electrical issue with switches, repaired and installed blinds. Caulked and sealed and even removed a dead rodent in the crawl space! He did all this in a VERY tight timeline as I needed to get the house on the market. He worked long hours and when little stuff cropped up her came back to fix or change. He is polite, responsive and professional. He kept me informed of what he found and any needed changes and provide receipts for supplies quickly. I gave him a key and I was very comfortable with him working when I was at work. All in all a very good experience and I will use him again."

"Local Professionals come through: I had a water flow problem on the front center part of my roof that resulted in some of the sheathing under the overhang to dry rot. I also had a rain gutter with damage caused by a leaning tree. I called Roofmasters for a free quote. Johnathon explained the process and answered all my questions. Aaron arrived on-time for the quote on 8/27/2018. He explained what caused the dry rot and answered my questions regarding concerns I had about other areas of my roof. He put my mind at rest – telling me that my roof appeared to be in good shape except for the area that brought him there that day. I received the written quote on 8/31/2018 for the roof and gutter repairs and scheduled the work to be done on 9/14/2018. They called 30 minutes before arrival as promised. "We we're having our bathrooms fixed up so decided it was a good time to have all the old galvanized water pipes replaced with copper in our pre-war home.  Tony gave us an estimate, and broke the job up in three sections to do separately if we chose.  He was always responsive when coordinating our renovation project.  Kurt did the work and went beyond the call of duty when he ran into some challenges in our old house like broken and clogged drains and poor accessibility.  Tony returned to review the completed job, and assured me that he would take care of any issues should they arise, which they have not.  I would definitely call Independent Plumbing again for any plumbing needs. <br />"

The whole process was very smooth and I haven't had any problems with the system.  I'm very glad I chose them. <br /> They have a project status page that provided clear information at every stage.  When I emailed or called, they responded within 24 hours.  I contacted them based on customer reviews and their warranty policy.  The salesman was low key and honest.  He made it clear that there was a waiting list for installation so I knew it would take a few months.  In the end, it was faster than I expected.  They provided clear written plans and handled the city inspection completely.  The connection to PG&E quickly followed. <br /> I highly recommend them.  I have two important notes: <br /> - Be sure to get a clear picture of the schedule.  It's complicated and they may have a waiting list. <br /> - The initial quote on the phone was for a much bigger system than they were able to install.  They can only tell so much from a satellite image of the roof.  Their on-site inspection showed that my roof was more complicated and not ideal for solar.  The quote was adjusted down for a smaller system.  I understood that they were oversizing the system, so I wan't surprised.  Your roof may be simpler, but beware that this can happen. <br />"
