"I was very impressed with Carl at our first meeting. He was very honest about his schedule and stated that due to the large number of pending jobs, it could be a long time before he could start any new projects. However, after considering the many outstanding reviews he received and that I knew I was dealing with a mason of superior quality and knowledge, I knew he would be well worth the wait. Work started late May. The brick wall and column at the front of our row house had to be removed and rebuilt, also the pointing mortar in (4) sections of stone wall at the rear of the property was removed and all joints were pointed with new mortar in a ribbon joint to match original pointing. Carl and his crew were punctual, friendly and super professional. He transformed a hideous mass of brick wall and column into a beautiful work of art! Carl skillfully separated our brick from the adjoining brick and stucco wall next door and meticulously applied a smooth finish to the uneven concrete overhang on the landing directly above our new brick wall as well as smoothed out all rough edges on the stucco wall on the adjoining row house. He created a high quality cohesive finish between the two row homes. The pointing of the stonework at the rear of the house is equally as beautiful. It is so neat and precise; took my breath away. "Our new bathroom is beyond our wildest dreams done very professionally and at a very fair price. Even during his visit to provide an estimate the owner Andrew, or Drew for short, was very pleasant and took as much time as needed answering our every question and explaining every detail about the process and materials. He was so patient he even took time to answer some detailed questions about future projects we are considering. Unlike the two other contractors we received estimates from A.B. Graham did not limit us to the company's catalog or showroom of choices of the tiles, vanity etc. Instead we able to shop and provide exactly the vanity and tiles and shower heads we wanted. Within days we had a detailed estimate itemizing 31 separate activities each with a price quote and description of each material and process. His quote was very competitive and we were pleased to give him our business. My wife and I made many changes upgrading our original plan and Drew, who did the majority, of the work himself with help from Joe had no problem altering the original plans as we went along. All the fancy upgrades including additional labor increased the final price just a bit but we got everything we wanted additional for less then I thought the extras would cost. I am already planning on working with A,B, Graham again. Fantastic work from a skilled professional at a fair price."
