"Long story short, hire Raindrop Roofing NW if you have a roofing job you need done right, consistent with manufacturer’s instructions. By contrast: the outfit that replaced the roof on our Dutch Colonial for the previous owners cut corners on the steep mansard slopes. As a result, the new roof which should have lasted 25 years, started failing in three. (I’ve been repairing drooping shingles ever since and have had to learn more about roofing than I ever envisioned or desired.) A few years back we hired a local company with an Angie’s List A-rating to re-shingle the problem slopes, but we had to let them go when we caught them taking the same shortcuts that caused the first roof to fail. Their excuse: the manufacturer’s instructions were excessive. (Yet these were the same instructions they had previously agreed to follow.) It’s worth noting that roofing product warranties are almost always dependent on installation consistent with manufacturer’s instructions. Nonetheless, it took several years to find another company that would agree in writing to do so at an uninflated price. Given the above experiences, we worked closely with Raindrop and watched their work with an eagle eye. They did everything we asked for and beyond! This included making extensive improvements to the roof’s ventilation, especially in the steep mansard regions. Further, the Taylor Metal standing-seam system they applied to the garage and patio looks and functions great. Their final price was consistent with their estimate, and right where it should have been given the size of our house and the materials requested. (Unlike many of their competitors, Raindrop doesn’t gouge the homeowner for requesting standing-seam metal in addition to composite roofing.) Bottom line: next time you’re walking down a street in Portland, look for the abundant tell-tale signs of roof repairs – visible patches of replacement shingles. It’s perhaps not surprising that in this sustained building boom, quality installation at a fair price is hard to come by. I'm happy to report Raindrop is the welcome exception."

"My wife and I started a major kitchen remodel on 1-04-2016, the contractor started demolitions on that day and the following week when the freeze occurred followed by heavy rain, we discovered a small leak in the roof just above the kitchen sink area because the ceiling was removed.  I called Warner Roofing and Mike came out to do an inspection.  He said it could be from two different sources, so, he applied some silicone on several shingles and said if the leaking does not stop to call him back.  Two days later the leaking got worse.  So, I called Warners again and they scheduled a work crew to come out the next morning.  A quote of $250 to $350 dollars was given.  The workmen came and replaced a cover and a small section of shingles within 3 hours of arrival.  No more leaks.  I would highly recommend this company and their workers for a job well done.

"After receiving a ridiculously high quote from a large Company for a small roof repair I put off getting it fixed. Then it leaked again. I was skeptical about calling another roofing company believing they would all be out to take advantage of me. So I took the chance and called Pro Roofer. Gabriel called back me very quickly. I spoke to him and told him the situation with my roof. He came out that day and inspected what I had going on. He called me back and told me what he had found. Turns out that more than likely the leak wasn't even coming from the area the Large company was going to charge me almost $2000 to fix. The leak was more likely from a window that needed resealed. Gabriel came back the very next day and fixed my window ( actually two windows) and put some tar on a couple of flashing spots. I was charged a fraction of the cost of what the other company was going to charge me and probably would still have the leak. The integrity and honesty Gabriel showed will definitely make me a repeat customer. That kind of honesty and exceptional customer service is hard to find. Thank you Gabriel and Pro Roofer!"

"I highly recommend RedBird Roofing. They were fast, reliable and quality of work was perfect. The project manager kept me informed and left the exterior of my house super clean, no nails, etc. if I ever need a roof RedBird has my vote 100%."

"Quick to initially make content and once hired were quite prompt in arriving at the job site. Personable and went right to work. I appreciated that as I do not live in Oregon; my sister occupies the house. It was nice to get something scheduled and completed in a short time. The 2 workers did a nice job of cleaning up afterwards. I would make one suggestion for the crew. It would be helpful for me at least to get an overview of what the project will look like once it gets done. It was a moss removal from my story and a half home. The majority of the work was accomplished using a moss killing spray which is going to take 2-3 months to eradicate moss from the roof. I expected more to have been scraped prior to the addition of the moss spray. A minor miscommunication for which I have at least half of the issue on me. That being said the moss is continuing its decline so the actual end result will be accomplished. Thanks guys."

"Rivera's Roofing Services did an exceptional job replacing my shed roof. They showed up when they said they would and completed on time. The Jobsite was cleaned up, all old and left over materials were hauled off. They stayed on the job even while it was snowing. I strongyle recommend Rivera's Roofing Services."

"Great roofing company and I highly recommend them! Rufus and his crew were easy to work with. Good price and prompt and courteous service. The crew cleaned up every night before they left. The roof and new skylights look great and the attic fan they added really helped reduce the room temp in our southwest facing bedroom. Will definitely use them again when the need arises."

"I contracted with Buena Vista Roofing (BVR) for a complete tear-off and re-roof of my parents house in Vancouver, WA. BVR came highly recommended by one of their neighbors, so I took his recommendation and called. From that initial phone call to the completion of the job, working with BVR was a great experience. The estimator performed a complete set of measurements and provided a quote that was fair. There was even a discount for being a senior citizen and a military veteran! The BVR crew of 3 workers showed up on time each day and went about their work. Once the old roofing was removed, the lead man could see areas where there was damaged/rotted roof decking (plywood) that needed replacement. The highly skilled crew cut out the bad sections and â puzzledâ in the new plywood pieces perfectly. BTW - the additional charge for the repairs that they made was very reasonable. After 3 ½ days and a lot of hard work, the transformation was complete and the new roof looks fantastic. I went atop the roof with the BVR inspector, and took lots of pictures. The workmanship is absolutely top notch. If you need a new roof, BVR should be your 1st call."

"Roof looks new again. On time and would hire them again for our next cleaning project."

"Top Gear roofing did an excellent job. First thing that impressed me was how responsive they were. They provided a quick response, competitive bid, a workable timeline and most of all; professional and quality work. What I also appreciated was when they found a problem with my roof that even I wasn’t aware of like a broken tile or flashing that had pulled away that they took the initiative to fix it and do it right without coming back to me asking for more money. I watched their workers. Hard working, conscientious and trustworthy. We are pleased and would hire them again."
