"John is a skilled tradesman, arrived a tad late, but was casual and confident. Looked at the task, said the estimate would be by the hourly rate ($80 an hour if I recall correctly), and made two trips to finish the task, a few hours each time (two different areas so that worked out for us). Asked us to check his work before he left, methodical and exact workmanship. I really like this guy! The exterior wall is over 40years old exposed to the elements, and he patched any breakage in the mortar, fixed any separations and finished the area where a new window went in. After everything dried, does not look obvious that any "patch" or "repair work had been done- blends right in! Knew the stone product (no longer available) and how to make it look new. "North Star Landscape Design - Landscaping  <br /> <br /> North Star Landscape Design,  I have had several different landscaping companies out to fertilize my lawn, and what stood out about North Star Landscaping, was that they bought out a landscape chemist (which I didn't have to ask for) to do an analysis of my grass for nutrients in ground to actually see what it needs instead of just a one size fits all approach. These guys are more expensive then most, but their job is so superior then the others. I will be using them this year also, for 1 year all treatments of my yard, everything, including all my beds and all, and it will cost $14, 087. I have 8 & 1/4 acres of golf course type grass and I have a full soccer field that is better than every high school in this area. They get the job done, very responsive, they are where they should be when they say they will be. "
