The way the original steps had been ‘encased’ within the retaining walls made the area impossible to shovel, so in winter the front door was either inaccessible or it was dangerously slippery to reach. Andy and Jesse came up with a gorgeous design that was more of a gentle pathway with landings instead of a standard staircase. It’s surrounded by native plantings and access paths to other areas of the yard. It’s so beautiful! They listened to what we were looking for and took into account our personal preferences on even small things. The crew was great about answering questions I had as the process moved along, and they also checked in with me if they had questions. On top of the excellent end product, the ‘business’ side was also great. Communication, schedule, cost—all as we initially discussed. I don’t hesitate to recommend them and would absolutely hire them again."

For area of improvements’: project start date could be better planned and material delivery could be better coordinated. Outside of this, we are very happy with work done on our deck."
