"I’m a female disabled veteran on a fixed income and needed a tree removed. I contacted several companies and was shocked by the outrageously expensive quotes I received. Companies were quoting me $1,000 - $1,200 just to remove one tree. It wasn’t a huge tree! Finally, I contacted Tarzan Tree Service. Tarzan Tree Service is a veteran owned business. And, the difference shows! Tarzan didn’t make me wait for weeks just to get an initial estimate. I called to request an estimate, and they came out the very next day to assess the tree. He quoted me $400. They are certified arborists and a reputable business and they were only charging one third of my highest quote! It’s a small townhouse with a small front and side yard and a small, fenced backyard. So, I asked him about the cost to prune some other trees on the property and asked his advice about whether another tree in the backyard should be removed. The owner of Tarzan Tree Service was very easy to talk to and recommended that I not remove the Japanese Maple in the backyard. He suggested that the Japanese Maple simply be reshaped by removing a few lower branches. He explained that he felt it gave the property character and would increase my property value. He also explained the growing habit of the tree and told me it wouldn’t grow much further. He left the decision to me; but after listening to him, I decided to follow his advice. And, I’m glad I did. After assessing the entire property, and patiently explaining his recommendations, Tarzan Tree Service quoted me $475 to remove one tree from the front, remove a small bush that was too close to a window and the siding of the house, prune another front tree, prune and reshape the Japanese Maple in the back, and prune some neighboring tree limbs in the back that were hanging over my fence line. Tarzan quoted $475 for everything when another company quoted me $1,200 just to remove the one tree. I happily agreed! Tarzan Tree Service then came out the very next day with a crew of five military veterans and two work trucks. They quickly did all the pruning and removals, fed all the debris into their wood chipper, and quickly cleaned up all leaves. They were in and out in about 20 minutes and the property was spotless! They didn’t leave a speck of sawdust or any loose leaves or branches! They operated with precision and professionalism! They were personable, knowledgeable, honest, ethical, and an absolute joy to work with. I am not receiving any kind of benefit from providing this review, and I don’t personally know anyone from their company. I just want to give an honest review and recommend Tarzan Tree Service because they are an honest company. And, honest, ethical companies are hard to find. They are veteran owned and helped a fellow veteran on a fixed income without taking advantage of me like other companies tried to do. If you need tree removal or pruning, Tarzan Tree Service is by far the best. And, they deserve your business."

"They did such a fantastic job on my yard. My backyard was completely overgrown from the last owner’s gardening habit. They came out promptly for an estimate and then scheduled the job within a couple of weeks of the estimate. They showed up when they said they would, and completed the job exactly how I asked. They were thoughtful and checked in with me throughout the multi day job to make sure they were doing everything correctly. I am so thrilled with how it turned out.
