He ran into an extra problem that we weren't expecting with slabs of concrete under the pavers but he was upfront and told us he would have to take additional time he hasn't budgeted into the initial estimate and the demo would cost more. He was professional and his initial quote was the most competitive to begin with, we agreed to a higher cost for the additional labor and he came through with great quality work that we love. "Perfect! The removal of the pre-existing concrete patio took and entire day of hard work with some heavy equipment and lots of muscle. Once the old concrete was removed and disposed of, the site was excavated to prepare the underlying base of crushed stone and sand for the pavers. The paver installation went well, but required last minute cutting into small pieces to fit some difficult spots (around the cellar hatchway). Everything looks beautiful compared to the older poured concrete. We're totally satisfied with the project and the team who did the work!"
