A few trees were within the wetland buffer zone, so John wrote an excellent, detailed letter to our Conservation Commission to get approval for the removal. I had to be out of town the day they were scheduled to take down the 13 tall pines near our house, and I was worried about not being there to deal with issues, but John assured me all would be well. He called me that morning before they started the job, called me during the job to discuss taking down one more tree that hadn't been tagged initially, and confirmed when the work was done. I expected some damage to the lawn or driveway, but when I got home the only evidence that the crews had been there was the missing trees. I've used two other tree services over the past 20 years, and Marquis wins. "Adam called me immediately and met me that same day. I hired the company and they cut my grass that same day. They used a ride on mower and my land is uneven so some areas were shorter than others. Two days later they spread 10 yards of hemlock mulch and recut some areas of my grass with push mower. They will use a push mower in the future. My yard now looks beautifully landscaped. Communication is definately key with this company. They aim to please!!"
