"Myself and my father has used MJA Contracting for two roofs in our houses in Jersey City. Both times Manuel and his team has taken good care of us and installed good roofs. At first I thought the price was a bit high but after I saw the amount of time, material, and workmanship that they completed I thought the price was very fair. Roofs are alot of work as I learned. What I especially liked about Manuel is he did not go cheap and install a torch down rubber roof. He installed a rubber EPDM roof instead. If you have a flat roof, do yourself a favor and install a rubber EPDM membrane and make sure to contact Manuel. He also rebuilt our chimneys very good as well. Excellent masons! I guarantee you will not be disappointed!"

"Mike Sheehan came to give me an estimate for windows on March 25th. He offered the Harvey Tribune windows. He was on time, professional and very detailed. He also spoke to me about insulation as I had a lot of air leaks in my town home. Based on my interaction with him, I pretty much decided that I wanted to use his services. I asked him to send me an estimate as I wanted to get my windows done right away (I had 6 windows and a patio door to replace). He said he would send the quote by the next day, which he did not. I sent him an e-mail about a week later on March 31, and he responded on April 13, apologizing, but that he had a death in the family. He also included the quote, which was incorrect. I requested a correction, which he did and sent the next day, April 14. By then, I had contacted another company, who came and gave me an estimate. I gave Mike the benefit of the doubt and decided to write to him again and asked if they offered a different type of window than what he offered. I also reread the second quote he sent and still noticed an error on my patio door quote. I heard back from him on April 27 (he said my mail went into junk folder), he said he would rework the quote for the different windows; but by then, I went with the other company, whom I rated an A+. I thought about using him for the insulation job, but I decided against it for fear he would leave me in limbo. I could have had my windows installed earlier by the other company had I not waited on him."

"Alexander contacted me within minutes of submitting my request on Angi. He quoted me a price, I hired him and he came out the next day to do the required work. The gutters are perfectly cleaned and he cleaned up any debris that was created. Alexander showed me an area that needs repair and made a couple of valid recommendations. "Every home owner eventually needs (or will need) a new roof. Expense is one of the driving factors that usually determines the vendor BUT a more economical long range decision should be made based on quality. Quality of product, installation and service are essential components of this decision. This is why we chose to go with Power for our new roof and gutters. EVERY interaction with each employee was customer-centric. They patiently listened to our requirements and concerns and then offered effective solutions during and throughout the entire process. (The warranty was also the best available.) Power is a large company with multiple locations across the country, ours was headquartered in Maryland but the work was completed in Virginia. This geographic distance did not adversely effect the outcome. From the initial salesperson (who took the gutsy risk of letting me visit and talk with two neighborhood customers while he waited outside before signing our contract) through the schedulers, work execution and Quality Control final inspection we were well pleased. The work started on time and was completed on time. Numerous personal phone calls and visits by the Power inspectors provided us with the comforting conclusion that we made the correct choice for a truly professional contractor. With our 50 year labor and product warranty I doubt we will need to redo our roof in our lifetime BUT if we move we would definitely chose Power again! Check the Better Business Bureau reviews and complaints and you will easily see that Power is a responsive and reasonable company to work with. Need a new roof? Power is your answer."

"It went better than I expected! Sky Tech was recommended to us by our realtor who just had her roof replaced. I dealt with Blanca via e-mail when setting up appointments to get quoted and replace our roof, she was very helpful, polite, and responsive. Dave, the owner, came out to inspect our roof on a Saturday and sent me a quote on Monday. The quote was very detailed and extremely reasonably priced. I signed the quote, sent a check for half the quoted amount, and picked our shingle color. We were scheduled for the following Thursday. A pallet of supplies and materials were delivered two days prior. The Sky Tech crew arrived around 7:45 am and were finished with the job by 12 noon. They threw a netted tarp type of material around the entire house to catch all of the old roof shingles and other materials. Some guys were on the roof putting the new roof in place and some guys were on the ground cleaning up any materials that may have missed the tarp. Before leaving, they combed the perimeter of the house with a magnetic tool to pick up any nails or other metal objects. Dave, came by around 3:30 pm to inspect the completed job, take back any leftover roofing materials, and do a final scan of the property for any missed roof pieces or metal objects. He even nailed part of our soffit that had a little sag as well as removed a broken de-icer that was stuffed into the gutters from the previous home owners. Due to the structure of our house and property, we don't have the best vantage points to see our roof. I have attached a photo though of the new roof, best shot and angle I could get. I would and will definitely recommend Sky Tech for any roofing needs, as well as any other siding, window, or deck needs. I will definitely go to Sky Tech in 20-25 years when our roof needs to be replaced and when we decide to reside our house."
