"East Coast Painting & Renovations is highly recommended. Brandon Owen, the owner, provided a very fair quote, clearly stating the scope of their work. He kept us informed of their schedule and coordinated his work with our availability. He and his team were professional and courteous, taking care to cover all the furniture, plants, and flooring while painting. They carefully removed artwork from the walls, the blinds, and the shades. After completing the painting, he replaced them. He was also able to accommodate our request for some additional â handymanâ type of work. We were impressed with his professionalism, attention to detail, quality work, and pricing. "????? If I could give zero stars, I would Hiring this contractor was a nightmare from start to finish. The bathroom they delivered is so poorly done that I feel like I need to redo it entirely. They rely on subpar subcontractors with no professionalism or craftsmanship. ? Overpromise and underdeliver: I had to stay on top of every detail myself, doing the job the contractor was hired to manage. ? Unreliable: Never kept appointments or confirmed schedules. The only time they showed up on time was to collect payment. ? Unsafe practices: At one point, a subcontractor was cutting concrete inside the bathroom with a gas?powered tool, filling my entire home with smoke. I had to intervene to stop it and argue just to get basic protections like tarps in place. ? Poor management: Subcontractors openly complained about not being paid, and I even had to send one home myself because of unacceptable behavior. ? End result: Substandard work that does not reflect the money spent. Save yourself "
