"I called Rick on Friday at 6:40am on a whim and he answered. He had a tech out to me by 11 am. I couldn’t believe it. The tech that came to me, was the most sincere and truthful person ever. They had to order parts and they actually got them over the weekend and another tech is here right now installing them. This tech is the same exact demeanor. Greatest group of guys possible. Not a bad bone in them. I will utilize there services and recommend them to anyone. Hands down great group of people. "

"10 reasons you should consider Ryan: 1. Ryan was very honest upfront with what materials he will use and what work he will perform 2. Due to pandemic and heavy snow in Feb, he accommodated the entire estimate process with photos and FaceTime for an unconventional setup involving new sub panel in my garage 3. He was courteous in answering all my (some naive) questions about the estimate 4. His price is not the lowest, but he used industry grade NEMA 14-50 outlet not the cheap ones 5. He submitted the permit for me (so that we won't have any potential code issues if/when selling the house) 6. He followed up when the permit was approved 7. He showed on time, worked efficiently, and finished the installation within 3.5 hours (2 days later) 8. He did everything he said he would do and used all the materials he said he would use 9. The installation passed the inspection with flying color (inspector commented that "whoever did this did a neat job") 10. Last but not least, he is trustworthy and only took full payment after the pass of the inspection (no other HomeAdvisor contractors provided that kind of peace of mind) and provided one year of warranty on workmanship upon my request (which showed his confidence in his work and which I hope never have to use) => If you live in (central) NJ and need to install a home charging station for EV or PHEV, please don't decide on any contractor w/o getting an estimate from Ryan as well (even if with FaceTime)."

"I have no complaints about Mr. Electric. In fact, the technician went above and beyond and was excellent. He couldn't make it on the day of installation, which was unexpected, but his stand in honored his commitments. The only reason to not give 5 stars was that it seemed excessively expensive. I wouldn't pay that again for what it was. I'd do it myself. Even Angi gave me a reasonable quote. They charge six times that reasonable quote for a simple outlet transfer... 10/10 for customer service. I guess you'd have to be though, for all that money."

"We will definitely use Sunshine Electric again and recommend to friends! They were very professional, came very soon after being contacted to give an estimate. They fully removed very dated and even frayed older, fire-hazard wiring. Even when they encountered some issues in the walls causing additional time for the project- they did not increase the cost of the quoted price. In addition to the excelkent service installing new ceiling lights and replacing antiquated outlets with new, safe ones , they even prepped an adjoining room for safer electric service - all without increasing their cost. The job was stated to take 2 days and it was completed in 2 days and started only days after a contract was agreed upon. We can’t wait to have them back to help us with other projects ! We paid half in cash electronic transfer and half with a credit card - and no problems. "
