"Adam did a great job with all installations and repairs required of him. He was knowledgeable, professional and willing to do what ever he was asked to install or repair. Offered different options on how to do each item listed. I was very pleased with his work and wouldn't hesitate recommending Adam's work."

"This was our first experience with Sweeps and we definitely plan to be repeat customers. The two gentlemen we hired to help us move arrived on time, were professional, efficient and hard-working. I've hired professional movers in the past and they charge twice as much for half of the effort. We also liked how you can post and pay for the job online. Highly recommend hiring Sweeps! <br />"

"My husband and I came home from visiting family over the holidays to a busted pipe in our basement. It was the main water line coming into the house. There was a river coming out of our garage and 3 inches of water in our basement. Not exactly what you want to come home to from being on the road for 10 days. Next day I called Pro-Worker and someone was sent right away to assess the damage. Steve was great and within 20 minutes I had a reasonable quote. Next day Steve came back with an excavator to dig up and fix the pipe. Leading up to Steve's arrival, I was kept in the loop of the estimated time of arrival. We had called other commercial names in town. One gave us a quote 4 times greater. Told us it would take half a day and a crew of men to complete. A couple of others told us they couldn't get to us until the end of the week, even though we told them we had absolutely no running water. Pro Worker/Steve came with one other guy and was done in just a couple of hours. As you can tell by the length of this post, I can't say enough great things about Pro Worker. We would definitely use them again and suggest them to anyone!"

"TLB was prompt in responding to my call. He was out here in no time to clear out land for me, did the job well, was respectful while on our property, and left everything looking nice and clean. Couldn’t ask for better service! Thank you."

"That particular company had been getting a bad rep before we used them. We went ahead and used them and it was not an insurance claim and they did an excellent job. They're competitive and very comparable to everybody else in our area. They're not any more expensive, they're not any less. They do a really good job, what they promise to do, they do."

"He was very informative, he gave me good information. They were punctual and did the job on time. He considered my input as to what type of windows I was looking for. I wanted the original look of the windows that were already in the home and he made suggestions as to whether or not I really wanted a seamless or non-seamless type gutter. He worked with me as far as the pricing to make sure that I was given the best value for the money that I wanted to put out."

"Work was delayed multiple times without being informed of changes,  just a no show,  with me having to call multiple times to find out why!   When the job was completed their work was excellent but their communication skills leave a lot to be desired.  I asked them at one point if they wanted the job because if they did not I would take my business elsewhere.  The excellent quality of workmanship is overshadowed by their lack of responsiveness.  Without that problem they would have received an A rating."

"Matt Grace is a very professional person. He was prompt in returning my call and we met soon after to discuss the work and an estimate. I was impressed with the detailed approach to the job. The work was scheduled soon after and was done on the timeline we agreed upon. Frankly, I was surprised how soon he and his crew were able to get to the work. It was done very well and there was very little residue left over from the work. I am very pleased how the work looks and I also like the fact that his bid on the work was not only the lowest one I received, but also the one that addressed the work I wanted to have done. Finally, I appreciate Matt's commitment to quality, both in the materials he uses as well as the quality of the people he hires. I will ask Matt to give me estimates on future work and enthusiastically recommend him to others. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Washington, NC

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
