"We got bids from four different companies.  The bid from Womble was competitive with two and considerably less than one other.  With a reasonable bid we went with what we considered to be the name brand (Pella).  We also like the salesman we were dealing with (Matt) better than any of the others. <br /> It was two months between signing the deal, (and making a 50% downpayment), and the installation.  But the installation crew showed up bright and early on the date they had predicted.  They worked long and hard to get the job done in two days, as the weather was scheduled to turn really cold the next day.  It's been six weeks since installation and we have discovered no problems with what they did. <br /> Our only reservation is that we wish we had gotten an estimate from Lowe's, who also sell Pella products.  We would have had to check closely to make sure the products were the same, but I suspect Lowe's bid would have been somewhat less. <br /> However, we are totally happy with the Pella windows & doors from Womble.  They are beautiful! <br />"

"Dillon from Groutsmith did a great job on our grout! ?He double sealed it where it had been particularly dirty, and when we had issues with cracked grout and grout colors not matching (where he replaced a cracked tile) he came back out and fixed it no problem and for no additional fee. ?He even let my 5 year old nephew "help" him seal the grout and answered my brother-in-law's questions about DIY tiling (we had company when he came the second time). ?Overall the office was friendly and helpful, and the work was well done."

"I contacted Tulsa Renew for a quote to replace a back door due to rain water intrusion. Owner Steve arrived on time and inspected the problem with a diagnoses that we did not require the door to be replaced but instead caulking around the door. He contacted his lead man to come out to do the work with full instruction to what required to be done. The repair was completed within an hour of the call. This easily could have been a case where a service provider could have replaced a door and labor for over $1,000.00. However, they viewed the issue from the clients eyes and provided a solution for no fee. Why no fee? Steve explained because the remedy was minimal and that we have used them before we were a valued client and Tulsa Renew wanted to take care of us - who does this kind of thing today? Tulsa Renew does. <br />"

"I requested a quote and he was VERY quick to respond. We scheduled a day for him to come by and quote the project (either the next day or the day after I contacted him on Angie's List). He provided the quote in a timely manner and was very professional. I let him know I chose him and we scheduled a day and time for the work to begin. He let me know about how many days they would be working on the project. They arrived on time, on the day we agreed, with equipment and materials to do the job. He and his son did great work. Their drywall repairs were excellent and the painting was very nice. There were a couple areas where we had different impressions based on our discussion but he agreed to make the job go well and honored his quoted price. They finished on the day he said they'd be done. Constructive feedback and things to ensure are clear: 1) Ensure there's written agreements about what will be done in every room with specifics. For example: mud and texture kitchen ceiling and paint with xyz paint to be provided by homeowner or contractor. Itemize each task that must be done in every room. 2) Switch and electrical plug plates to be removed or left in place. 3) They said they don't paint inside cabinets. I had some shelves that I didn't consider cabinets but he did. I asked him to go ahead and paint them and I paid him a little extra because I felt it was a gray area and he did a great job anyway. 4) Write down and agree upon who will provide the paint and what and where each different paint will be used. 5) Note if trim will be caulked after painting is done. This was my first experience with painters aside from new construction. They did a great job and I will absolutely use them again for my next drywall and painting project. I would also HIGHLY recommend them because they are professional, do great work, do what they say and are punctual."
