Customers say: True professional

"Nathaniel was amazing!! They took five days to do the project. First 2 days were tearing out the old fence and setting the posts. They kept us informed of progress throughout the project. Finished up on day 5 with building and installing the two gates. They were very professional and cleaned up everything from the yard. The new fence is absolutely amazing! They had very good pricing as well coming in much lower than the other quote I received. Great craftsmanship! We could not be happier."

"Ruvim did such a great job! Cleaned and sealed my deck, which looks brand new, and did a bunch of handy man type stuff, touch up paint, front door painting, etc. I would hire again in a heartbeat."

"I would definitely recommend Defeat Contracting to anyone looking for a fast fair construction project. I had them close in my carport and I could not be happier. The results are just what I had envisioned, and it was done in about three and a half days. We had to rethink some of the project and Remington took the changes to heart and we ended up with a beautiful outcome. Their work ethic was impressive, working hard each day and then leaving the site in great shape. Thank You Rem"

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Washougal, WA

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
