Small jobs welcome

"Nolan was extremely professional and worked hard on our deck project every day——even during crazy spring weather! He even came back in the evening and on weekends to continue working on the job if needed. He was an amazing “problem solver” and worked with us to create unique solutions so we didn’t have to move electrical components! We are so pleased with our new deck—and can’t wait to use it this summer! Thank you, Nolan—-we will definitely be contacting you for future projects! (*Photos to come) Scott and Maraye, Watertown."

Customers say: Quality work

"Adam and his team are very hard workers. There were a few issues that surfaced throughout the process and Adam address all in a professional manner. Adam offered to deliver more rock that I requested, Adam gave me, a disabled Veteran, a 10% military discount, he saved me money by showing me how to move the sprinkler heads out of the way of the fence, I questioned Adam about securing the bottom of fence to keep puppies in and initially he said, that would be extra and after some discussion, Adam said he would do this stabilization for me at no cost. Adam is very efficient and answered my texts or phone calls in a timely manner. Adam also agreed to allow me to pay half upon completion of fence and pay the other half the next month. Overall, I am very satisfied with Adam and his team and I would highly recommend him to others. He is honest, hard working and patient and those are the traits in a successful business."

"Scott was great to deal with. He came out very quickly to assess the damage and provide a quote. He answered all of my questions and I had many of them. I was concerned that I did not want to put a bunch of money into this and have the next storm take it down. Scott assured me that I had nothing to worry about and if I had issues he would take care of them. <br /> We ended up replacing most of the fence and the fence gate with a new cedar fence. They build the fence themselves, which was nice. I was expecting pre-made panels like you get at Home Depot. They did a really great job. All of the posts and fence are perfectly level and the entire fence line is really straight...my last fence had some waves in it from where the posts were not perfectly lined up. This one looks a lot better.Less than 2 days and I had my security back and could let the dog and the kids into the back yard. I've recommended Scott and Sioux City Fence to my friends and would definitely use them again. <br />"

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Watertown, SD

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
