"This Company, headed by Patrick Stollenmair, did another fine job. Patrick is knowledgeable and easy to engage. He has a terrific crew which did the work in a most efficient manner. Price is fair. And, their repair work after digging was superior. This is one fine Company. Second time we have needed them this year. Both efforts were outstanding."

"It was my pleasure to have Marcial Stonework and Landscape do my driveway, it turned out excellent. My wife and I could not be more satisfied. Guillermo and his crew did excellent work and a lot of it. They were hard workers and worked all day sometimes even in rain. I will put Marcial Stonework at the TOP of the list of contractors for future work."

Small jobs welcome

"I had a few bushes planted and asked to grow grass....$3500 and my yard is very small, less than 1/3 archer with a 1550 sq ft house, 3 decks, 48 ft ramp, pool and 2 more ramps in the back yard and 10 x 15' shed. Check out the pics, I was watering for 2 years and even put more seed and fertilizer out myself. They tried to tell me it was my fault - when they first planted the bushes, while talking to James, he tells me his guys do a 2 minute watering on all plants while we are watching one if his guys water my newly planted butterfly bush for less than 20 seconds - and does not come back to water more. There is grass growing in my drive way, not in my yard. His guys walked around with bandanas on their faces, spewing lime and seed everywhere.I informed James that my yard needed aeration at the least and probably topsoil. He did come back the 2nd year, once, and put more seed and fertilizer down. I sent them the pics of my yard and asked for some sort of refund or help. NO."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Waynesville, NC

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
