"I needed a landscaper because my lawn was a mess (more weeds and moss than grass, it seemed), and water was seeping into the basement because of improper gutter drainage and soil grading. Oh, and there was a critter, possibly the skunk that was seen in the area, burrowing underground where there was a gap near my patio – ugh! I hired M&L because the quote was reasonably priced, and Leo was responsive, understanding and cooperative as my landscaping project evolved. The job he ended up doing included building a trench for the gutter downflow, re-grading the entire lawn, creating flowerbeds, installing a fence, doing concrete work (to keep that critter out!), and paving a small section of the yard to hold trash and recycling bins. Leo and his team showed up when they said they would, worked quickly and efficiently, and with the greatest attitude – all of them were hard-working and easy to deal with. I will definitely hire M&L again for future landscaping jobs, and I highly recommend them to others. My lawn now looks nice and neat, can't wait for the new grass to grow. Thank you, Leo and crew!"

"Tomas was excellent! He did an incredible job and wanted to make sure that we were happy with the work he did. He helped us demo planters and install pavers on our driveway and patio. He ran into an extra problem that we weren't expecting with slabs of concrete under the pavers but he was upfront and told us he would have to take additional time he hasn't budgeted into the initial estimate and the demo would cost more. He was professional and his initial quote was the most competitive to begin with, we agreed to a higher cost for the additional labor and he came through with great quality work that we love. We would definitely book his crew again for future projects!"

Each had a choice of materials that could be used that more or less fit the bill, but not exactly. Douglas definitely stood apart from the others. Not only did he suggest a paving stone that was exactly what I wanted, but he suggested modifying the design of the space to make it fit in better with the setting. We ended up coming up with space with a curved corner rather than a straight corner (which is what I originally proposed, and the other contractors were going to provide). It looks great!!
