"We needed to reclaim our back yard. They took our 17 trees. Removed old shed and concrete pad. Tore out our old deck and poured us a nice patio! We couldn’t be happier with their work! Scott was amazing and patient with us! He communicated every step of the way. Fair prices and great service! Will definitely call him again when we need more work done. "

"We had 3800sq ft paver project to cover our pool decking, involved a staircase, and a firepit, also had installed black border pavers and black paver bads seperating the flags of concrete up a 175' new concrete driveway. If you are looking for honest,/OCD type/ pay attention to details type of contractor Derek and his crew is where you will find them. Wish there was a way to upload some photos, they completely transformed our pool and patio and exceed our expectations every step of the way."

"Baron Harvin is an excellent brick mason. The lower half of the brick veneer between my garage doors was partially torn away when my cement driveway was removed. I kept the top part of the veneer supported by wood until I could find someone willing to make a repair. Mr. Harvin had no problem accepting the job. The work he did was outstanding. Not only did he seamlessly restore the lower half of the brick veneer at this part of the wall, he salvaged some of the original brick that was pull off the wall and mixed it with new brick that was a close match. He also matched the color of the new mortar with the color of the original mortar. I was very impressed with his attention to detail. He also repointed the brick stairs to my front door. Mortar had broken away from some bricks and was being washed away from the remainder. Tile at the top of the stairs was also coming loose, decades after original installation. Mr. Harvin did an outstanding restoration of those steps."

"This company has been very trustworthy and dependable. Olivia really knows how to care for and treat lawns. She has sprayed our lawn for fungus and specific weeds all season and the lawn looks great. She advises us to mow at certain lengths and timing. We had a drainage problem on one side of our house and she dug a drainage ditch and filled it in with rocks. She does all our fertilizing and pre-emergent weed control. This company is always right on top of everything that needs to be done and is very reasonably priced, especially for Seniors. I respect and appreciate the dedication to the customer that has been shown to me as a client."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in West Columbia, SC

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
