He did a great job getting all that junk that was left behind Within 2 days which i thought was awsome because there was a lot of stuff left behind. He was also able to paint a few rooms and fix a couple of walls with holes. I was super pleased with his work. I still have contact with alex because he is a real handy man and does work efficiently. "This was the second time that I used this company for gutter cleaning. I was very pleased with their work the first time but not as happy with it this time. This time, I received an email from the owner asking if I wanted to schedule any services. I responded to that email saying that I did want to schedule services, but no one ever replied to my email. Several weeks later, I received a phone message asking if I wanted to schedule services (not in reply to my email, just a general message asking if I wanted to schedule something), and I called back and said, again, that I did want to schedule services. I was told, on that call, that View/Renew would do the work I wanted on a certain date, but no one actually showed up on that date, although the owner did contact me to explain that the workers had run out of time and had not been able to make it to my house and immediately rescheduled the work, which I appreciated. When they did the work this year, they left the gutter debris in big garbage bags in front of my garage, while, last time I used them, they hauled the debris away. I understand that it might be more efficient, from the company's perspective, to leave me with the job of disposing of the waste, but, for me, this is a major drawback of using this company for gutter cleaning. All of the other companies I have used for gutter cleaning removed the debris, rather than leaving it in the yard, and this works better for me, since it is difficult for me to lift big bags filled with debris and haul them to the yard waste disposal center. In addition, last time I used View/Renew, they patched some holes that woodpeckers had made in the siding when they cleaned the gutters, so I asked the owner to do that again this time, and we agreed on a price, but, he did not actually patch the holes this time. I think there may have been a miscommunication on this point, as he said that he didn't do the work because I didn't supply the patching materials, while, last time, he just used materials he had in his truck. This isn't a big deal except that, now, I have to find someone else to do this work, and it will be much more expensive to have someone else come to my house, just to patch the holes, rather than just adding this small task to the gutter cleaning. I would have appreciated it if the owner had made it clearer, in advance, that he was not going to do this work, as I would not have used ViewRenew, had I known this. I would, instead, have used the company that I used last year because that company cleaned the gutters, patched the holes (without any additional charge) and also hauled away the debris, all for a single, flat price."
