"I called Donny to do some yard work and left a message. The very next day he called me back, much to my surprise because anyone living on the cape knows contractors are notorious for not calling back. He and his team quickly did the work. I was amazed how fast and neat they were. The work was completed in a day and a half. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! they cleaned out leaves that have been there for years and removed some trees and added wood mulch. They also added mulch around the flower beds, trees and around my fish pond. I highly highly recommend Dony Santos!!! I would give him and his crew 10 stars if possible."

"We have hired DMO Scapes twice now to take down trees in our yard, as well as tree cleanup from a storm. They are professional, reliable, and very easy to deal with. We felt their quotes were honest and competitive. We have recommended them to family and friends as well."

"I gave Jeff our â visionâ and told him that we didnâ t care how long the project took to complete. Usually a very dangerous statement for contractors. Jeff did an amazing job we are very pleased with. He made suggestions to enhance the strength and ways to save some money. I would recommend him without reservation and am looking for other projects just so I can hire him again!"

"Was in the market for replacing our homes front walkway. From start to finish, first receiving a quote in August from Michael, and deciding thru all the quotes to work with this company. The crew lead by Dan worked wonders for our front walkway. First started out on a Friday 9/12 preparing the area to be worked and finished an amazing, outstanding job on Monday 9/15. They worked each stage of this project, taking their time, taking care of all areas to what I call awesome. I am sure I will be working with Travers again, because of their outstanding work."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in West Barnstable, MA

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
