He had subcontractors visit in order to price their portion so his cost would be accurate. Once hired, John was very responsible and responsive. We always knew when he would be here or when a sub was expected, and could count on things staying on schedule. His subcontractors were also really good, and they really responded to John when things needed to get done. When he said "jump," they all asked him and us "how high?" We were only a bit over budget, and that was mostly due to additions or changes we made over the course of the project. We'll be doing our master bath next, and our first phone call will be to EHS."
