Not only took care of that, but walked around my wooded corner and asked if I wanted several standing and fallen dead trees gone. Sure! Left my property in great shape! BTW, no extra charge, but I did tip the whole crew. And, Kathy in the office is great."

"High marks for following through and meeting their commitment and doing great work. I had an Almstead arborist review the property and provide recommendations on some dead limbs and trees. We came to an agreement. When the crew came, the arborist wasn't there (later found out she'd left and moved north). As far as I could tell, the crew didn't have the instructions we'd agreed on and they did some, not all of the work. What followed was back and forth, but after a few months they sent out the crew to remedy the missing work. They did a great job and I was very glad. I appreciate the office staying on it and making it right. I've used them for 24 years and happily look forward to continuing to use them. It's a lot to trust your trees to someone!"

They resolved the situation with our landscape, and went above and beyond at no cost to correct our front landscape: removing dead plants, replanting, and adding new & much improved plants to the front line of the house. "John the owner is obsessed with me, dangerous, continues harassing me via phone and driving around my house at all hours. I’m a single mom, scared. I feel compelled to warn others at this point, 5 months into this h***. He clearly has mental health issues and needs professional help. He did my landscaping for the 2023 season. Even hired him in September for my fall clean up once the summer work was over. He begins texting me in at the end of Nov. that I have a past due balance. I compared with my bank Zelle payments to him and he was PIF with a final payment for fall clean up as well. To this day he still text and harasses me. I’m going to file a report with the police. He has been going around to my neighborhood talking to my neighbors about me. Weird!!! This is scary and infuriating at the same time:("

But what ended up happening is that imperfect execution led to dead plants, ugly plantings, and rude workers. When I hired Almstead, they sent a professional arborist, who clearly knew more than all the folks I hired in the past few years put together. Moreover, they fixed everything flawlessly and with beauty and precision, were not more expensive like I thought they'd be, and sent very respectful workers to my home.
