Anderson was really quick to communicate, and able to give an initial estimate via multiple photos - then followed up with a site visit to confirm. He was able to schedule the job quicker than expected due to finishing another project early, and he (and a helper) worked until nearly dark to finish. They were friendly, hardworking and respectful - leaving the job site as clean as they found it, with only minor clarifications required."

"We called Ranieri Construction because a combination of ground settling and a sloppy repair made our concrete pool deck not only cracked and uneven, but also unsightly. Lou Ranieri explained that they couldn’t fix the cracks as they were, but would have to remove the filler from the first repair, grind down the uneven surfaces and stain the whole surface to achieve an even color. Once the plan was in motion, Andrew Ranieri worked tirelessly to grind down and level all the surfaces – this man is a definite perfectionist and the even surface is better than we ever thought was possible. A skim coat was applied and, once hardened, the whole area was cleaned and stained. It’s beautiful! We can’t say enough about how diligent Lou and Andrew are in their, often backbreaking, work. Once completed, the work area was left spotlessly clean. "The floor is the age of the house - 50+ years.  It was in poor condition with spalling but no big cracks.  I'd wanted to do something with it for years but couldn't bring myself to do a do it yourself epoxy job.  When I came across Black Bear on Angie's List I was contacted them for a quote.  Justin provided the quote.  He was prompt, businesslike, more than wiling to answer my questions and answered a few remaining questions via email.  John and crew performed the job during the week I asked that it be done because I was home on vacation and had stuff from the garage scattered around inside and outside of the house.  The floor was ground and the various layers of bonding, epoxy and grit for traction was applied over 3-4 day period.  The floor came out so beautiful when it was done.  Black Bear also offered to finish off the apron at the entrance to the garage.  John and his crew came back the next week when the weather was better to complete that work and it's also looking good. <br /> The toughest part of the whole process was cleaning off the floor of the garage so the work could be done. But it was worth the effort.  I'm very happy with the outcome and the process.  I've seen the water beading up instead of soaking into the concrete floor.  And it will be much easier to keep it clean in the future. <br /> I'm glad I waited until I found Black Bear to have the work done.  A positive experience and a good looking outcome. <br />"
