This is the second major project I have used him for--the first was constructing an enclosed 10' x 17' sunroom/porch--and both projects exceeded my expectations for quality of workmanship at a reasonable, affordable cost. </p> <p>   The small solarium that needed replacement had been installed from a kit when the home was built. The first estimate to replace exactly what was there, although reasonable, was simply more than I could afford. So Mike and I worked together to create a new design--for less than half the initial cost estimate!--and I actually love the new addition even more than I did before! It's much higher quality than the solarium was, and has taken that area from a pretty-but-useless space to a beautiful, functional seating area! I absolutely <em>LOVE</em> it!</p> <p>    MIke is honest; he says what he does and does what he says.  He stays within the cost and timeframe he promised; cleans up his mess daily; has courteous helpers, and even brought treats for my dogs every day. "Sean was extremely professional, courteous, and personable from our first meeting. He worked with us to make sure the design was just right, including a complete redesign of two areas when we weren't pleased with the first few drawings. The plants were installed professionally and the team moved quickly once the plants were in. Having now lived with the landscaping for 2 years we are even more pleased with how well things have turned out and how responsive Sean and Dan have been to taking care of remaining issues (including replacing all plants that died). Garden Art is not the cheapest game in town, but they are surely one of the best in terms of quality and service. Our one quibble has been at times the response to our questions or inquiries have been slow (mostly during the and quot;offand quot; season). Not in terms of how they handled our landscaping, but in moving forward our project in terms of planning. Overall though, we are absolutely thrilled with our landscaping. <br />"

"I wrote an earlier review about the service from "A Beautiful Lawn" back in July. It focused on the lack of responsiveness, particularly on billing. Those issues have been completely resolved. The owner has been out to our home and together, we developed a plan for our lawn and landscaping needs. Being new to pavers, Shane provided excellent advice on our original design, to add a perimeter wall and off patio location for our grill. Both have enhanced the space."

"Schumann was very professional, met with us a few times in order to get the plans perfect.  He made recommendations that improved the houses curbside look dramatically, and we would have never been able to come up with a plan like his on our own.  It is now 5 years later, and his paved pathway is holding up strong and it still looks great.  He is very good at what he does, and efficient as well.  We did not have a lot of money at the time, so he worked with us and gave us his plans in order for us to do the bush planting ourselves and save some money.  He explained how we should do it.  We really appreciated his understanding, and his professionalism.  The curbside appeal of our house is 10x better now."
