Customers say: Terrific value

"The company was prompt. The guy who did all the work , did an outstanding job, was not a bothersome person, did not even accept water or a beverage, as he was concentrating on getting the job done, and he did it well."

"The trees arrived on time. They were in good condition.  However, when the two young men dug holes to plant them they didn't put water in the hole first.  I didn't find this out until the next day when all the leaves started to fall off the trees.  I had expected the two men to know what they were doing since I paid half the price of the trees for the planting.  When I went to the East Coast Garden Center that weekend to express my concern that the trees might be dying because of the improper planting (they were guaranteed)  the man I was referred to didn't seem to express any concern or care.  The trees have survived after a rough year and plenty of watering but I will not buy any more trees from them because of this response. <br />"

"The pool install was timely considering the pandemic circumstances. I think more explanation could have been provided for some of the material choices, but overall the pool turned out beautifully."

"the norm in this area, is for work to be constantly slowed because of workers not showing up when scheduled. Sean came and stayed with the job, was very dependable, and did it well. another neighbor used him on our recommendation and was also pleased. on Sean's own description, he said he is OCD and likes things done perfectly as he can manage. He is very particular about the construction and about the finished product, also."

"It was a rush to get everything done before winter , and was close, but it got done. We were very pleased with the design, plant suggestions for the sun exposure, which respected our likes/dislikes, and with the quality of installation work. The solution to our swampy sump discharge was innovative and subtle in my mind RSC is not the cheapest outfit in LSD but they do great work. This is the second project they have done for us, and if I need another contractor, they'll be in the mix"

"Josh and his father (who assisted with some of the barn work) are very professional. They provided good advice, showed up on time, left all work areas clean, and were very knowledgeable about many aspects of construction and landscaping. I will be contacting Josh again for work. He is very nice and conscientious."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Whaleyville, MD

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
