"I purchased a Spring Clean Up Special for mid May, date dependent on weather. It was a rainy week with our backyard swamped. I recommended they put me off a week for the yard to dry up. I was told the crew works rain or shine & a delay on my part would put me at the back of the line. The 2 man crew arrived and they agreed the backyard was too wet and working it would trench the lawn. I recommended they work the front yard and return to finish the job after a few dry days. The office makes it simple for themselves and considered my job as DONE rather than incomplete.. If I wanted to start from scratch they would allow me to purchase another Spring Clean Up Special rate for the backyard & would be scheduled at the back of the line for mid June. The landscape team was great, the office manager is great, but just be warned that the Company has a policy that doesn't care about following through with their commitment. ."

"Just recently completed a waterproofing job to 1/2 of my basement in Eastlake. Other 1/2 of house done years earlier by different contractor. Mr Chubb gave me an estimate for my job back at the start of May, but it took until the end of July before my work could be scheduled. These folks are busy so you need to get on their list early.

Began their work on a Tuesday and then finished the total job by the next week's Thursday. I am including the time for the disconnect and reconnect of the AC as they provide a contractor to do that. The actual waterproofing work took from Thursday to the next Tuesday. They did not work Sat or Sun. So the job took 4 days. There was a period of very heavy rain while the basement walls were open and uncovered. The result was a bit of a ground shift / sink but no damage was done.

Their waterproofing work was wonderful. I was very happy with their waterproofing. They use 3 layers of sealer. Cement sealer, then some kind of sealer for the cement then on top of that Tar. All new drainpipe was installed. They even fixed an issue I had with a downspout on my detached garage. I was pleased with how they cleaned up their workspace each day and left things in neat order.

My only small complaint was that Mr. Chubb stated during the estimate that I would be getting new topsoil. That left me with the impression that once the old soil and clay was removed from the house they would only be using new. The truth is that they only put about 2 to 3 inches of new topsoil down around the house and under is used a large amount of the old soil that had been next to the house. So days later I am finding tree branches with needles and red ceramic drain tile pieces that I thought would be all gone. So Mr. Chubb needs to do a bit better job of explaining about the new soil that will be installed. If it would have cost me $1,000 more for all new soil I would have liked to have been given that option.

But they did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of their work. Even planted where I had placed new bushes and landscaping. That was way more than the previous waterproofing contractor had done years earlier. I just wish they would have used a bit more new topsoil instead of so much of the old messed up soil on top of their waterproofing rocks. I am happy with the job and very happy with the work and would recommend them highly. I would use them again. A- on the work. The minus is only because of the topsoil issue.

"1. They create a professional design video so I knew exactly what I was getting.... Yes VIDEO! 2. They tore out the old, bland concrete patio and laid down a beautiful stamped concrete pattern. 3. They stained the concrete to a color of my choosing and added a glaze! The pic below does not do the finished product justice. It was taken before staining and glazing. 4. Then they cleaned up the area. I LOVE my new patio. Only downside was some damage to my grass from the large, professional equipment used. But I will be hiring them again for more work. They are AMAZING!"
