"The work was done properly. However the cost was very high in my opinion. Three workers showed up at 7:00AM and completed the job at 2:00 PM. That is a total of twenty-one man hours of work. Materials cost between $200 and $300 leaving a total of $2,700 for labor. Thus the cost per man/hour was $129.00. That seems high to me for this type of labor. If you don't mind paying that much for this type of work that is fine. However, I think you might be able to get the same quality work for quite a bit less"

"Fred Campa gave me an estimate on the yard in late April. Because of his schedule and our vacation, he was willing to work on Saturday since there was no time available during the week. Fred has an extremely likeable personality and is easy to deal with. He aims to please! He is very knowledgeable about the plants, trees and shrubs and answered many questions that my husband and I had. His crew is also very friendly and cooperative. I like the fact that Fred was there with the crew so he could explain what needed to be done, and what I wanted accomplished. He had to leave for a few hours, and his crew never slacked off while he was gone. When Fred returned, he did a walk thru in the yard to make sure everything was done as promised. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I hired him to return on a regular basis every other month and would like him to spray thoroughly for weeds semi-annually. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Fred mentioned his business is growing steadily thanks to Angie's List and "word of mouth". "I have never had professional landscaping done before, so I have no real basis of comparison. We initially presented them with our wish list, and they came back with everything we asked for. This was well above any budget we had for this, so they planned at least 2 phases for us. In phase 1 we wanted access from the front yard to the back yard. The initial plan didn't have a path that was sufficiently wide for anything but light equipment (wheel barrow). I noticed something and asked them about changing the plan. They did a great job with the idea and listened to our needs. Phase 1 has been completed and it looks great. More important, it not only gives us access to the back yard, but also effective access to a storage area under the house. We did have a punch list at the end that required a few changes to what was done so that it matched what the plan said. This was done quickly and professionally. We are currently looking at phase 2, which will have to wait for spring. As an additional note, we have visited a variety of greenhouses, and found that Warner has excellent stock. <br />"
