"Project - newly remodeled single story ranch with a bay window, oversized windows and regular windows. Partitioning several sections of interior with sliding panels. Communication was excellent with my assigned rep. He gave suggestions, practical tips, design styles and brand qualities and free samples. Explained the entire process up front. They have excellent varieties, styles, builds and with more color choices than competitors. Shipping was also very quick or prompt. Tracking was excellent. Packaging was extra secure and solid, especially on the longer sized blinds. Installation was simple and can be done by any DIY'er. Helps if you watch the available install videos on their website. Customer service was excellent. Easy to contact by phone or email. Reps are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. One occasion, no questions asked on needing to replace one of the larger blinds due to workmanship build (a brand product - not their own brand). It was handled quickly and shipped within a few days. Saved thousands of dollars over other vendors (who had less products and choices). I receive a lot of compliments on the blinds (& colors schemes), but get rave reviews on the partitioning sliders."

"The equipment was fine. The installation left quite a bit to be desired. A high efficiency furnace requires a vent pipe and separate air inlet for combustion air. When I explained that there was one location which I didn't want them to use they didn't take notes. I was away at work and when I returned home that spot was exactly where they located the vent pipe and inlet. I called them and told them they needed to relocate them. They were prompt in doing that and did relocate the pipes. A few days later we left town for a couple of days and when we returned we had no heat. It was a Sunday so we called their emergency number. A technician spent four hours at our house fixing the problem. It turned out that they did not adequately support the vent pipe leaving the house. The pipe filled with condensate and then deflected (it is PVC) and then the low spot was completely plugged with water. This caused the furnace to malfunction. Once he figured out the problem the technician was able to quickly fix it. The installer had also forgotten a vent adapter kit as the vent and the vent drain are on opposite sides. This requirement was in the Owner's manual and I pointed it out to them. The vent pipe near the furnace was installed sloppily leading to a couple of low spots which were always about half filled with water and gurgled. On our own we cut out this pipe and replaced it with pipes that drain. The system now works fine and no longer gurgles. They also did not install a kit for the vent and inlet pipes leaving the house. They took the simple way out and just filled the gap between the pipe and siding with putty. This expands and contracts with the seasons and leaves an air gap into the house where insects and mice can enter along with loss of heat. I asked for and received a kit to install on my own for the vent and inlet piping leaving the house. The air conditioner seems to work fine."
