"Initial rep was great and informative. Felt comfortable with initial sale. Hardly had any contact from customer service except for the payments. There were several delays that we were not informed about unless we called to ask. Took 7 months before they showed up to begin project. Only 1 person was sent to build steps. Took a week. Hard worked, hardly took a break. Had to call again to see when they would come to pour patio. Never knew when they were coming, they just showed up. Hardly spoke with the homeowners. Inspection paperwork was just left on porch. Additional paperwork that is "required by the County" had to be completed by homeowner and taken to Court house to be notarized and filed and also provide a copy back to Long Fence. Time sensitive materials which added to homeowners to-do list. Gave this contract to LF on the surface of their history and appearance of a 'good local company' but should have stayed with original contactors in VA. Puddle of water forms when it rains"

There are two reasons why you should consider us over our competitors. 1) We have the best warranty in the industry. When it comes down to it, most companies in this business really are "about the same". We all run our businesses in the same manner, use similar qualified crews, and desire customer satisfaction above anything else. All of this while trying to put "food on the table." We wanted to be different than everyone else, so we put our heads together and found a way to be innovative and different while at the same time meeting the goals mentioned above. When it is all said and done, you are paying for service - not the actual product. Any fence company can install your fence or deck without raising an eyebrow, but their product is only as good as their guarantee. We decided that we wanted to be proactive when it comes to our warranty. Our one year warranty is the same as everyone else in the industry; however, this is the difference. At the 6 month period after your project has been completed, we will send a representative from our company to inspect it for any defects that may need attention. If there are necessary repairs needed, we will let you know that we will be sending someone out to take care of things. If that's not enough to convince you, maybe this will at 12 months - just before the warranty ends - we will do the same thing. We want you to feel that your investment is protected. We want you to feel comfortable with who you are giving your money to. But most of all, we want you to feel that you can truly trust us. The end result was a complete tear-down and removal of the shoddy 640 S.F. deck, and a newly reconfigured, rebuilt, impeccably constructed and absolutely AMAZING new deck (in 2 weeks time).
