"<p>We recommend this contractor.</p> <p><strong>Background.</strong>  This was our first project since the construction of the house in 10 years.  We researched the options of wood and metal buildings.  The cost of each was about the same.  However, the metal building was a quicker and durable option. </p> <p><strong>Contractor Choice.</strong>  We chose the contractor due to the price, the interview with the owner, their website, and a testimonial; we visited a previous job site where they did a similar project.  In general, the owner was more responsive and professional than the other contractors.  The other companies seem less professional and some were just odd.  The local contractor business in our area is competitive but not cheap.  </p> <p><strong>Foundation. </strong> Overall, the survey, land clearing, and laying the A/B aggregate went well.  We chose to hire an additional contractor to clear more land to expedite their work and for other projects.  Foundation framing and cement work went according plan.  During this phase, we were very much involved with their work since we need to integrate our other requirements into the foundation.  We needed to run water and power conduits into the foundation before the pouring of the concrete.  In addition, we prepared a portion of the foundation to support an in ground carlift.  All these actions required us to coordinate closely with the construction team.  Though our special modifications may have been a deviation from their standard work, they were more than willing to work with us to accommodate each special request and let us do the portions of the work we intended to do ourselves.  In addition, we were welcome to ask questions and review the work daily to ensure that there were no misunderstandings or incorrect expectations.   We enjoyed working with both the owner Caleb and his site lead, Calvin.</p> <p><strong>Erection.  </strong>We elected to wait 30 days to begin the erection after the pouring of foundation.  The erection went without any major incident. Caleb's crew performed all of the work for this portion, and did so at remarkable speed.</p> <p><strong>Follow-up.  </strong>We required a follow up visit to fix one of the overhead roll up garage doors that came off its track.  The contractor responded within a reasonable time and completed the work without issue.<br /> Overall, we were very satisfied with the entire experience, from bid through construction to completion. We recommend you consider this vendor for your next construction project.</p> <br />"

"I had worked with Arizona Foundation Solutions before. They had installed a moisture removal system as a heaving remediation solution. During my renovations, I noticed a crack in the foundation that was a little more than 1/16 of an inch wide. I felt comfortable fixing it myself. However, I wanted it done professionally and have it backed by a transferable warranty. Therefore, I decided to go the with Arizona Foundation Solutions. The person handling the actual repair was Tom Linear. I was very impressed by his commitment to doing the job right even before the start of the job. The original bid was different from the work that was actually needed since I had just completed removing tile to reveal the extent of the damage. I shared this change with Tom. He assured me that all would be handled. He also warned me about the limitations of the repair. Part of the crack was in close proximity to the wall. Due to this and the need for even more, possibly unnecessary work, this part of the crack would not be stitched. However, the work would still fall under the warranty. I was blown away by his skill, knowledge, patience, and willingness to not only listen to my concerns and answer questions but actually teach me me the techniques so I would feel comfortable doing it myself in the future if needed. Tom is an excellent teacher. As mentioned previously, the scope of the project was changed. He performed extra work that was not in the original contract and would not fall under the warranty, and was done without expectation of extra charge. I cannot say enough positive things about Tom. He is passionate about his work and is willing and able to share it with others. "My Wife and I would like to thank Tom Rubino of Landscape Drainage Solutions for his recent follow-up and the quality work installing our Stormwater Drainage System. After the record rain fall, we experienced two weeks ago, at our Scottsdale home, would have been flooded and facing considerable out-of-pocket cleanup and remediation costs. <br /> The Cost for having a well-designed stormwater drainage system installed by a highly professional, competent and qualified contractor like Tom Rubino and Landsape Drainage Solutions, paid for itself in less than 24 hours, great ROI in anyone's book. When Tom first assessed our situation and saw our photos of standing water in our side and back yards from previous storm events, he knew exactly how to resolve our stormwater drainage problem. Simply move the stormwater out of the side and back yards to the front yard and into street. <br /> Tom recommended using a combination of slot/channel drains annd five 9-inch box drains feeding into a 50 gallon heavy duty PVC sump tank with a submergible pump. "Everything was well done.  The craftsmen were knowledgeable, competent and friendly.  The cleanup was excellent as well.  The owner of La Casa Bella Builders is a thoughtful listener, asks good questions (which is so important for myself and my husband as we typically do things ourselves and wouldn't have considered asking the necessary questions), is very polite and engenders confidence and trust. <br /> We were not in a hurry for the work to be done.  This was important as we had to be slotted into a very full schedule.  I like our sink fixtures.  However, in retrospect, I should have shopped around for them rather than try to order from the builder's catalogue.  The catalogue had only one selection for our sink configuration.  It is likely that there would have been more choices had I shopped elsewhere.  That mistake is mine.  There was no pressure from the builder to purchase from him.  It just didn't occur to me to look about then bring him something to install.  <br /> My husband and I enjoyed the entire experience.  La Casa Bella Builders is first on our list for several other projects we have in mind.  I truly appreciated Sean and his willingness to let me talk the process out loud to him.  My husband is looking forward to working with him on changing our front patio into a real porch.  Sean had wonderful ideas about that and didn't charge us a cent for his insights. <br /> I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.  Everything about this experience was terrific. <br /> <br />"

"Southwest Building Solutions is the very best contractor I have ever used. From the beginning, working with Collin to get the building I was looking to get built at the right price. From there I met with Scott the owner of the company and we discussed all the things I wanted from the building size and add-ons; no other builder came close to getting what I wanted. When I finished talking to Scott, I knew I had the right builder. I then moved on to Chris the superintendent he also worked with me to make sure that all the things that were discussed were going to be completed. He also followed up several times to make sure that happened. The building crew moved on to the jobsite with Kevin as the supervisor they were the most professional crew I could have asked for. Every day they cleaned up the job site and made sure all the equipment was parked in line and professionally. The build took 5 days and the doors 1 day for a total of 6 days. "I put down a deposit for my project around June 2024, with the agreement that work would begin in January 2025. The deposit was supposed to secure my materials. In December 2024, I asked if they could start earlier and complete the project by Christmas. They agreed but couldn't begin until December 26th—not a big issue since the original start date was January. However, the real frustration began here. One of the pavers I selected was on backorder, and I had to order more than originally needed just to meet their supplier’s minimum requirement. This meant paying extra and waiting over four weeks to keep my design. [ My deposit DID NOT SECURE MY MATERIALS ] Despite my frustration, I agreed. Then, on February 19th, I received a message saying they would resume work in two days. I waited—no one showed up. I followed up on February 22nd and was told they would come on the 22nd or 23rd. Again, no show. I rearranged my schedule multiple times to accommodate these delays. Finally, on February 24th, they showed up and continued the work. Now, as of March 5, 2025, the installation is complete, but there are still unresolved issues—irrigation not working, scratches on the gate and wall, leftover project trash and other cosmetic problems. I have to reach out daily to ask if someone is coming to fix these, only to be met with delays and rescheduling. If you’re looking for a company that delivers decent work but terrible communication and scheduling, this is it. Their inability to set clear timelines or communicate properly has been beyond frustrating."
