"I have to drive an 1 1/2hrs to get to my parents place (to get a quote for a move-out quote) so Charity could start the next day on getting the house cleaned so we could put on the market. I have never used this service before but was happy someone could help right away. My mom has just recently passed away and we had moved all furniture with the exception of a small dining table and couch and chair. No trash or anything in the house! She told me that she would start early on Sunday and should be done by Monday. Great! We would be putting the house on the market Tuesday. I work a full time job but took off on Monday to come look and see if it all has been done. When I showed up to pretty much nothing had been done. It looked like more dumpster diving had been done than work on the house. There were things piled in the yard from our dumpster. We had a dumpster that my brother and I were using to trash things from the house. We were not asked if she could do this but I let it go. Charity then started to tell me a slew of issues she was having. I was understanding. She told me for sure it would be done on Tuesday even if she had to stay all night. I said ok but it has to be done on Tuesday. So I checked in with her on Tuesday afternoon. She said she had 2 people coming then another 3 that night. Again more excuses given about why it was done. She assured me it would get done Tuesday. I asked her to let me know when she was leaving the house Tuesday. I got no response. I showed up on Wednesday at 2pm and the work still hasnâ t been completed. Some work has been done but not to the level she told me it would be done and for the price of $425. I then was upset but ended up having to console her because she started crying. I was done by this time. I asked her to finish cleaning the refrigerator and to clean the patio fan. I couldnâ t have her in the house any longer than that. She was out time. A job that should have taken 2 days tops for a 1800sq ft home we were on day 4!!! We had people coming to see the house the next day. Remember the whole house was empty. Things not done that I had to do: Windows not fully cleaned. Squidgy marks on windows and tops of front windows were not cleaned fully to the top. Laundry room not done doors not cleaned. Garages not swept out and lights cleaned not cleaned. Only windows were done. Some baseboards throughout the house. Some doors throughout the house not cleaned. The front door glass not cleaned. Patio not cleaned other than the fan. Re-swept and mop floors. They did not looked done. Definitely has debris to sweep up. Clean door jams and transition areas. Refrigerator not pulled out and cleaned floor. Some outlet and light switches not cleaned. This is why I told her I would pay for the work done. She actually said that I didnâ t need to pay her since I wasnâ t satisfied and this was her policy. I sent her an email last week asking how to pay her and didnâ t get a reply until this week for the $250 that I said I would pay which I thought was generous for such a small house. So much for her satisfaction policy"
