"If you want the best this is your guy. Rome and his crew installed a slab in my crawlspace storage area. Yet they treated it as if it was my living room. Or better yet, their living room. I’m pretty sure that they are going to get their projects as close to perfect as humanly possible no matter what the intended use is. Plus they clean up everything. And I mean everything. The only way to know there was a concrete crew on my property is they that left behind an expertly finished slab. So I’ll say it again. If you want the best this is your guy."

"We hired Pioneer Concrete to demolish a badly stamped patio job and replace it with a stamped and colored patio around a swim spa. Joe helped us lay out a different stamp pattern that would work best for our project. Joe knew we were nervous about getting the best results this second attempt, and his attention to the details and our concerns allayed our fears and worries. Joe and his crew were on the job promptly (early!) every day, and got things quickly demolished and set up for the new pour. Joe and his crew were great to work with, even after we had them undo a full day of setup work to change the design layout. "They are a wonderful family owned business that is very skilled and professional. You definitely get a relaxed island vibe from these guys but in no way does that relaxed vibe result in bad work. Their waitlist time was much shorter than any of the other companies that I checked into. I called 12 cement contractors that were even more local to me. Only four of them called me back and it was several months before they would even come give me an estimate. By the time Island Concrete was done two more of the 12 finally called me back to give me a date for an estimate. Sam from Island called me back the next work day and came out to do measurements and give me bid. The only companies that did come and give me bids were from cities in different counties. I chose to use Island Concrete because they seemed the most trustworthy and they have all their own equipment. As someone who has been in and around construction my whole life I understand what a big deal it is to have all the heavy equipment and the people to run it. This means they do the whole project from start to finish work. They don’t have to hire subcontractors to do the excavation and prep work and wait to get on the other company’s schedule. They set the forms, they have their own cement trucks, they have their own finishing crew. Most other cement contractors either set the forms OR do the finish work. Subs are used for everything else. That’s slow these guys do it all and they are fast! I was only on the waitlist for a month. They showed up on the scheduled day and they were done in three days."
