"Kitchen and bathroom vanity painting: Sr. Martinez spent over 2 days meticulously covering everything that wasn't supposed to be painted with paper and/or plastic. I had other estimates that said they would roll/brush the cabinets, but for $$$ extra they could spray them. Fernando sprayed them at a cost less than some brush/roll estimates I got. The cabinets were sanded, got two coats of oil primer, and then the next day two coats of the finish paint. They dried overnight and then the hardware was attached and the doors and drawers installed. He even came out on Saturday and Sunday to complete the job. I highly recommend!"

After receiving a fair project quote from Manuel Féria, the owner of C&M, we quickly reached a firm fixed price (FP) contract for all materials and labor required to complete the job and agreed upon a one (1) week start date to commence the project. The project involved both exterior and interior phases. The exterior phase included: 1) the cleaning of all exterior walls, windows, and the roof and gutters, 2) carpentry repair work to replace all damaged wood and trim, 3) the rehanging of the gutters following trim replacement, 4) exterior repair of the chimney, 5) the painting of all exterior surfaces including the metal railings, and 6) the deck repair and final staining. The interior phase included: 1) the repair of drywall cracks, 2) the painting of walls, ceilings, and trim, and 3) the interior staining of newly installed windows. The refurbishing project was completed in two (2) weeks for the agreed upon fixed price. All work was performed by skilled professionals that arrived on time daily, completed their work and cleaned up at the end of each day for the interior phase. All exterior repairs were completed using quality materials done by expert carpenters. The interior and exterior painting was performed with true craftsmanship employing attention to details. I can honestly say that C&M outperformed my expectations for the entire project. The house is now refurbished inside and out and looks truly great, I would definitely recommend C&M to anyone needing home repairs/painting and plan to use them again for future work. "We dealt with Jason May who gave us an immediate call back, came the same day and emailed a price that was substantially lower than other estimates.  He was very punctual, professional and courteous.  We had chosen the paint we wanted at Lowe's and he purchased it there.  After painting two rooms and a portion of the hallway, we discovered that the paint color was not the same hue as we requested. We spoke with Jason immediately and he went back to Lowe's where they discovered they had put in the wrong number for the paint mix.  He obtained the new paint which was the right hue and redid all that had been done. Although it was definitely not his fault, he was so apologetic because they could no longer complete the job at the time promised (which was ok). The job went extremely well and we are enjoying the results. I highly recommend this company to anyone and I would gladly use them again. <br />"

"I had called 4 roofing companies and got none of my calls returned. I hired a contractor finally. After waiting 6 months on the contractor I hired who kept putting me off a friend called 1stop for me. They were out at the exact time they said they would be. The estimate was a few 100 dollars more than my previous estimate but after waiting 6 months I didn’t care. One guy came out to do the job which took 2 days. That was the quietest worker and he cleaned up the work area very well even putting a tarp down to collect debris. I would hire this company again. Work was good, cost very reasonable,"

"They did an outstanding job and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stainer or painter. Nelson and his son showed up on schedule and completed the job quicker than I expected. They spent the first day cleaning the entire deck and even cleaned up the patio underneath. They stayed until dark the days they stained in order to get the job done. They were very precise in their staining work. Very pleased with the over all project. <br />"

"Very easy to work with and knew / shared extensive knowledge during bid, at the job, and after finished (i.e. need to wait at least 30 days before washing newly painted bathroom).  Quality work, repaired and went beyond in fixing any mistakes (painted extra wall when some paint from the ceiling got on an unpainted wall). Cleaned up well and left us all the extra paint. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that at times when he set up a phone or visit appointment, it was delayed due to being so busy on other jobs. However, he never left me hanging too long and always called the same day to report any delay's. Due to not being in any rush for this job, it was not a big deal to me. <br />"
