"Mark installed our driveway 8 years earlier and we were beyond satisfied with their work so we decided to hire again for our 40x50 Pole Barn. Mark was professional and very informative regarding pad and add on for our building. Other estimates didn’t provide and recommendations and seemed only concerned with price per square foot. During install Mark noticed elevation/drainage concerns and recommended a grate in front of one door. This is the difference with Pro Tech Custom Concrete and other companies. Mark goes above and beyond to ensure the customer is aware of potential issues providing professional recommendations yet keeping the cost to a minimum. I want to make sure Marks crew received the same recognition. Every crewman worked hard, professional ensuring all of our answers were met. "Shrubs at 2 properties needed to be removed. They were original landscape estimated to be 40+ years old. Two story house needed updated landscaping and retaining wall, single story home needed painted but but unable to access due to shrubs. Thorpe Site Solutions was working near by, I asked them to stop and give us a quote. They were professional and personable, we walked the property, they took photos and asked questions about accessibility to different areas. They were up front with concerns about possible damage to existing flower beds and explained a plan to minimize damage to yard from equipment. i requested shrubs be pulled out vs cut off and stumps ground. Within 48 hrs they sent me a quote for each of the jobs. The next week they started work...they worked non-stop x 2 days to complete the work and haul away all of the debris, they level the landscape where there were holes. No regrets, No disappointments! THEY DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB!!"

"When the square footage of your circular driveway rivals that of your 4 bedroom house you get multiple quotes. James at Powerhouse Construction was great to work with and the finished project was excellent. He walked through all the items he was going to complete such as saw cut control joints, drilled rebar for joining to the garage, and why he uses those methods. I received 5 quotes and he was the only one to include the finishing work of bringing in topsoil and seeding after the concrete work was completed. Since having the driveway replaced, I have gotten multiple comments form neighbors and even people driving by regarding how good it looks. James and his team persevered through several unforeseen obstacles such as parts of the originally driveway being 12” thick, some areas having zero gravel underneath, some areas having round river stone (not great for compacting), and a record 4” of rain one evening that turned the job site into a giant mud pit complicating work for almost a week. James brought in ~100 tons of crushed stone which they compacted multiple times to ensure a solid foundation for the concrete. He even filled the large hole I dug for the basketball hoop with concrete as they were pouring that section of driveway (I dug the hole, set, and braced the post, but avoiding the mixing 12+ bags of concrete by hand was a nice bonus) The job did take longer than planned and there were a few equipment issues, and as mentioned weather issues, but the final product was great. No contractor can control the weather and I think leading up to the pour days I was looking at the weather app on my phone hourly. He had to push a planned pour date (Friday) due to incoming storms but was able to complete on Monday. They are not the biggest and they don’t have a fleet of branded vehicles, but they all worked hard and delivered a quality driveway for me and my family that we will use for decades to come."
